^^ Me too!

I won't be watching this one again. Stupid contestants, stupid hosts, stupid premise!

Exactly why I watched it last night. Jericho is a great guy and I thought he did a great job as a game show host. He wasn't afraid to add his little comments which were pretty funny into the show and he was having fun with it. When you meet him he's like what he is on the show. He's a really funny guy.

I'll be watching next week. It's about the only game show I've watched a whole episode of since Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Not as bad as it could have been, but the novelty of the gimmick has already worn off. It's just the old Letterman bit of dropping things off a five-story building combined with a quiz show. And dropping your friend off the building... who cares? It's not like they are in danger.

Also, repeatedly hyping the fact you are on a 100-story building means nothing if you're only dropping things onto a landing a few stories down.

Maybe they can retool it so the winner is the contestant who can come up with the best Hitler Downfall parody for different subjects.

Tom, your category is...the BP oil spill! (Cue Hilter video while Tom tries to improv)

Yes, I remember that. It was a show called "Distraction" (an import of a British game show actually, keeping the original host). The prize destruction was just the ending part. The bulk of the show was contestants answering questions while ... well, being distracted by various things (like paint balls shot at them, pro-wrestlers tossing them about, nudists prancing about, getting electrical shocks, getting pinched with clothespins, and so on). The top scorer at the end was presented with a grand prize - like a new car. But they had to answer a series of questions, with each incorrect response resulting in destruction of their prize. For example, they'd sometimes have all the losers hanging around, with things like paint, knives, bats, sledgehammers at their disposal. And when the "winner" got a question wrong, they got a few seconds to do whatever they wanted to the car.

I missed "Downfall". I probably would've watched it just for Jericho. The premise doesn't sound like much to hold my attention for a show (let alone a season of shows).
