Re: Is Flashforward as a Standalone Season worth watching ?
Not worth it, unless you're doing a study on how not to dub in dialogue after the fact.

Re: Is Flashforward as a Standalone Season worth watching ?
no.

Re: Is Flashforward as a Standalone Season worth watching ?
Watched them all and another no.

Re: Is Flashforward as a Standalone Season worth watching ?
Can someone spoil this show for me? I watched the first 5 or 6 episodes but lost interest.

Re: Is Flashforward as a Standalone Season worth watching ?
Soooooo... Survey says:
a.) THE SHOW SUCKS, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING THIS BULLSHIT. & b.) CHRISTINE WOODS IS HOT. /THREAD |
Re: Is Flashforward as a Standalone Season worth watching ?
Original Desmond: If your bored out of your skull and have absolutely nothing to watch, then fine sit through all 22 episodes. For the most part, I think you will be entertained. But, it seems to me that you download shit like crazy and have months worth of material to watch through the Winter (since it's Winter in your parts.) Plus, there is already quite a few new scripted shows airing this summer. You also mentioned that you still have a ton of other shows you still haven't watched yet from this past TV season.

Re: Is Flashforward as a Standalone Season worth watching ?
No. And I watched all the episodes.

Re: Is Flashforward as a Standalone Season worth watching ?
There are a lot of shows that lasted one season that are probably better.
Wonderfalls... Firefly.... |

That is too much digging. Can someone just give a quick summary in like 2-3 sentences on what caused the flashforward.

I just read that show description. Ugh. I think I've already seen every episode. I'd rather they kill off more than half the cast of Flashforward and bring that back.

They never directly or plainly said or revealed who/why/what/how - that's why the show was such a rip off.

I thought the blackouts happened when the supercollider was used. Didn't Simon and the other Brit cause the first blackout? Weren't they working for the blond guy that Mark attacked while he had him in custody (don't recall his name) toward the end of the series? I'm more curious to know how wearing a ring kept people from blacking out.
Say what you want about series but the ending explained far more than Lost's series finale. |
Re: Is Flashforward as a Standalone Season worth watching ?
I watched the first two episodes and found it interesting, but haven't bothered to watch the rest of the show. Too much stuff going on, and besides I'm still trying to wrap up Season 1 of both Alias and Miami Vice.
Could somebody tell me what happens in Flashforward? All spoilers on this show are welcome, but in spoiler quotes please. Here are my questions (spoilers): Spoiler:

All in all, I'd say the series is a C-, with a good premise but lousy execution until the last half-dozen or so episodes, and there were too many lingering questions when the series ended to be able to say it came to a satisfying conclusion. And I still want to know what was the deal with that kangaroo. |
