Ugh. I liked the show but didn't like them not giving us any closure at all.
When this show was originally pitched to ABC, David Goyer and Brannon Braga pitched a 5 year arc.

I read a quote from Howard Gordon, the now former Producer of 24, who said that pitching a show with such a long term arc is very risky and not everyone including the viewers are going to buy it.

I liked the callback to the one guy's flashforward being him sitting on the toilet. I'd forgotten about that until his toilet ambush.

I'll actually miss the show. It had its problems, but the idea was interesting and I would have stuck around longer to see more. Or at least to see the kangaroo again.

I'm about 2 or 3 eps behind on this show and I didn't even realize this was the Series Finale.

I gotta stop getting hooked on ABC shows.

Why are we spoilerizing theories on a show that has already aired and will not be airing any longer?

Um, wow. Great cliffhanger for a second season, but a bullshit series finale. Really disappointed.

I wouldn't even call it a good season finale. We learned nothing new about the FF's or who is behind them. They basically just hit the reset switch on the premise and started over again.

Uhm, wait, they all came true? So that one chick cheated on her husband with that other douchey guy? Yeah, no wonder, I'd say fuck this show, too.

No. They were all similar to what the FF, but not exactly the same. Small modifications were made (Mark wasn't drunk, the Asian dude was alive, Olivia and Lloyd did not sleep together, although he was at her house, etc..)

My main complaint was the guy that worked with Penny at the hospital, the one that was hooking up with the hot girl from Mad Men and decided to dump her and go with the ugly asian girl. I was so mad!

It didn't really make any sense when it happened. It kind of made her seem like a whore.

I agree with some here. I really liked the Janis character quite a bit (or at least Christine Woods), but the rest of the show...eh....

Hmm...too bad, this could have been a great series, but they just made too many missteps. Wish they had recorded some kind of completely alternate ending that brought the series to a close. Oh well.

I think for it to make sense you have to review their scenes together from the beginning and pretend they are have some kind of flirty, sexual tension and attraction between them which they are trying to deny/overcome. You will have to supply this yourself, as the acting, writing and directing completely fail to convey it.

I think halfway through the season they had the characters find out that they were almost attending the same college together and theoretically, they could have hooked up. But instead, Penny followed Benford on his CIA path and transferred from the school.

After building up her character so that she didn't want to be near the guy or his kid because it might lead to her flash forward and the dissolution of her marriage, suddenly Penny's like "OK" and they become best friends.

Par for the course with this show.

Is FlashForward about to be saved from cancellation?

I don't think this is going to happen. But it would be nice if they can give a proper ending to the series.

Interesting.....I'll be watching if it comes back. The remainder of the episodes after that long break were much better than the first few.

Re: FlashForward -- Series Finale -- "Future Shock" -- 05/27/10

i don't see how i can come back. most of the people who were on the show probably already have other jobs. seems like it's too late in the game to resurrect the show.
