Ok, so I am watching and the blonde chick is on the ledge going into the sealed room, she has on tennis shoes, when she walks in to the room, she has on 5" heels, when did she stop to change shoes.

I think ABC has too much invested in the show to pull the plug so soon. Charlie's Angels is a legendary franchise... I would expect major tinkering before they completely cancel it.

Pretty much everyone seems to be sleepwalking past the chunky dialog too...
it's just strange being I don't understand how they can muck up something as simple as a show about a bunch of hot women solving crimes. Maybe they wanted to move away from a fun campy vibe and more towards gritty crime solving but whatever they where shooting for, they missed. IMO the other -hot women solving crimes- shows in the past like VIP and She Spies where more entertaining and it's not like those were really great shows or anything..
I just hope it gets better..
and of course as others have said.. Minka Kelly

I haven't had a chance to see the new show. So I came to this thread to read what you guys thought of the show. Most seem not to like it. I remember in 1976 the original show got bad reviews but the public loved it. I liked that they had 2 of the women with no bras and you can see their pokies. Also when they had the Angels pose in sexy under cover work.
Has this new show done any of this?

I noticed that too. Looked like those really thin, tight fitting shoes that climbers wear.

Okay, I'm in the major minority here, but I watched both episodes including this one earlier today and surprisingly I found it quite entertaining. I guess all the horrendous feedback here made me lower my expectations alot.
I actually thought the show is sort of a throwback to how action procedurals were produced back in the 70's and 80's. I hated the 2 Charlie's Angels movies mainly because of how outrageous and campy they were.
I like the choice of Victor Garber as the voice of Charlie.
I'm guessing that Annie IIonzeh gets top billing in this show since she was on an ABC soap opera before.
I agree with what everyone said here and last week. It was stupid to make Rachael Taylor's character an American. They should have just made her a sassy Aussie.
Also, making Bosley a studly Hispanic dude is pretty laughable. If I had to guess, Bosley isn't his real name.
As for this episode. Carlos Bernard was a cool villain of the week. Nice to see Isaiah Mustafa do something other than a deodorant commercial.
I have to assume that besides the scripts and acting (which is subjective anyways), the main problem (probably from guy posters on the internet) is the show casting a hot actress like Minka Kelly and 2 moderately attractive chicks that they have never heard of.

I don't think ABC has been able to get decent numbers with anything its tried in this timeslot since Ugly Betty. I think they did run Wipeout here for awhile, but they certainly haven't gotten a scripted show to work here in awhile.
I'm just hoping it runs long enough to see the Erica Durance episode. I'm missing Lois this season

Re: ABC to cancel Charlie's Angels.
If we all tune in tomorrow maybe we can save it!
It was funny to see that the guy who plays Bosley walked off Access Hollywood Live before his interview segment came up because he was offended when they said "Is he dating Minka Kelly?" Now he won't have to do any more interviews at least.

Re: ABC to cancel Charlie's Angels.
It amazes me that this show even got green-lit, and is another example of why I don't watch the traditional TV networks anymore (CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox). What the hell did they expect the show to be??? The only reason I would remotely think of watching an episode is because you have 3 hot women, but I wouldn't tune it in for substance.

This is a show that should have been sold straight into syndication.

Until Deadline.com reports it, it's not official.

I thought the pilot was ok and was willing to give it another chance. Still haven't watched the last episode though. Oh well, clears up another 42 minutes from my week.

I thought she left FNL and Parenthood. Did I miss a show she was on that got canceled?
There were worse things on than this show, but if Undercovers (a much better show) got canned last season this certainly needed the boot. There was never any real hook except for Kate and her ex-fiancee detective and they looked to string that out too long in episode 2.
Oh well, had too much to watch anyway.
