So am I right in assuming that Desmond went down the glory hole during those 80 minutes I missed? Did he die?

It looked like some magma was coming for him, but we didn't see blistering flesh or anything.

These Super Bowl-length/frequency commercials are a little much, but no complaints about the episode so far except for what it isn't answering. It's doing as well as I could have expected.

I can understand stuff like Jack and Juliet being together because without the island she wouldn't have went there and could have instead met Jack, married him, and had a kid.

What I can't understand is why Jin and Sun wouldn't be married in the sideways timeline or Jin wouldn't be infertile.

When I saw Lapidus, my first thought was "Looks like somebody got his not being trapped in a submarine back!"

So it looks like Kate is the one that triggers Jack's revelations. Too bad...

Screen just blanked. What needs to be Hurley?

Oh, island protector. Thanks for explaining it twice, C&L.

So why did Jacob do all the praying over the water? Did that serve any purpose when all Jack did was scoop it into an old water bottle?

So has anybody ever wondered how the plane was going to get off the island with no runway?
