Lost and 24 Both Ending for Good: Which Will You Miss Most?
 

These two pretty major shows are both ending soon, Lost Sunday and 24 Monday. I watch them both, have since the beginning, and was trying to figure out which will leave the bigger gap for me. (Never really had two shows I really like and have watched for many years end at the exact same time.)

I'd have to say 24. Jack has been such an amazing TV character, and they way they're winding things down is just raw.

24 looks like it is closing with a bang, and Lost has spiralled downward.

Lost was one of the most addictive shows I can remember seeing. That said, it needs to end, so I won't miss it so much but I have enjoyed it much more overall than 24.

24 had 2 good seasons, the rest rated between okay and terrible. Used to be a fun series but I won't miss it.

LOST for me. Although it's the right time for it to end. So it's not that I'll miss the show, but I certainly care more about the end of Lost than 24.

I actually gave up on 24 after a few eps this season. I just had no desire to watch as it was setting up for a boring season. I'm really happy to read that things picked up this season. I'll be picking up the DVD's now.

I gave up on lost 1/2 way thru season 2. I've stuck it out, both the good and the bad, with 24 the entire time. So, 24.

24 lost me earlier this season. It was just such a bore that I couldn't make it through. I hear it's going out with quite a bang but I got to the point where I just didn't care.

24 without a doubt. With shows like The Shield, and The Unit gone there is a void in really aggressive 'manly' shows, save for Justified.

24 absolutely. Lost has, at least for me, been a constantly intriguing but uneven show. The highs were awesome (season 3 finale), but the lows were low (season 2 as a whole and the endless myriad of questions answered with more questions).

Lost

Lost has been my TV addiction for the last 6 years, I am glad that it is ending, but i kinda dont want it to.

For me 24 has less of an impact because the last 2 1/2 season (seasons 6-8.5) have bored me to tears.

LOST without a doubt. I used to LOVE 24 but the lows of that show have been WAY worse than the ones on LOST. I do think it is time for both shows to come to a close, but I'm already missing LOST and it isn't even over yet. That show has so much rewatch value with all the little things to pick over, whereas 24 rewatches tend to only emphasize the flaws in logic with the show.

24 is always on my watch ASAP list.

Lost, while I watch it, it has never been a "CAN'T WAIT" show. I've got them saved up & will eventually get around to watching but not in any hurry.

Well Lost has been getting progressively worse in its final season and 24 has been getting progressively better - so probably 24!!

If you had asked me in March, I might have said Lost. But since then, everything has changed. Lost has been disappointingly meandering towards the finale. This sort of sloppiness reflects poorly on the series itself and makes everything look like a flimsily-designed charade.

But 24, post-Jenny-From-The-Block, has been an unstoppable force of nature. They've built upon seasons of frustration for Jack, and are delivering an honest-to-goodness, believable character arc. And it's all happening in the most awesome, entertaining way imaginable.

So for me, it has to be 24.

Honestly, I'm pretty happy both of these series are ending. I won't really miss either of them. :shrug:

24 for sure, I gave up on lost during season 3 when it sucked like worse than Heroes ever did ;)

Tough fucking poll. I've tried voting 3 times and just keep backing out of the thread. :lol: I'm still not voting but here's my thoughts.

While Lost has been almost a religion for 6 years and my favorite show it's time for it to wrap up. On the other hand, TV just won't be the same without Jack Bauer out there saving the <s>day</s> hour every week.

Definitely Lost. I know there's a couple of days that I missed on 24 but I've watched every episode of Lost since the pilot.

24, because it is really ending strong and kind of crazy, reminding me why I loved the show and Bauer all these years.

Lost, the more it goes on this season, the less I find myself caring.

24 for sure. I like that it's contained in just one season. Lost requires knowledge from every season just to keep up.

Lost. I'll miss that show terribly.

While entertaining 24 is also mostly badly written and acted. It's been the same plot for at least 5 seasons. It's time to end it.

I will not miss either show because their endings have been long overdue but watching that last episode of 24 made me realize that I'm going to miss Jack Bauer.
