By the way, I love that we have multiple people talking about Earl Cole in this thread. He deserves more respect than he gets when people talk about the greatest Survivor players.

Jordan wasn't too bad and while I rooted for Michele too, I've heard the experience completely changed her and she's totally full of herself now and hangs with the Mike Boogie crowd of people who think they are major celebrities because they played a game show. She got implants and totally looks different. Not in the good, cute but nerdy way that made her so adorable in the first place. I was disappointed to hear that.

Michelle is easy to remember if you watched that season. First, she was completely and totally adorable. Second, in one of those blindfold challenges when Yau (I assume you remember him) was blindfolded, she was the caller that got so exited that she fell off the scaffold. It's a funny Survivor moment. I don't fault anyone for forgetting Fiji though. The season was pretty as a whole was pretty lousy, and there were only three or four interesting people in a cast of 19.

After all the Earl talk I had to look up his season to see who he was. After being reminded of a whole bunch of other players from that season, I still don't remember anything at all about Earl, even after looking at a picture of him. For some reason the guy is completely wiped from my memory banks. Can't remember a single moment of him from that season, even his winning it.

Basically she owned her game and never apologized for alligning with Russell unlike Parvati who tried to distance herself from him.
Apparently also from interviews Natalie really went into great detail saying a bunch a personal info about all the Galu's family that she listened to them and cared for them right after Mick fell flat with Brett's brodate question.
So Erik's speech defending Natalie was actually after the tide had turned in her favor and it summarized a bunch of stuff that never saw air and apparently Micks entire jury plea was Russell was bad Natalie is his assistant vote for me because I am the alternative which blew up in his face because he had the win going it but lost it .
Natalie just got shafted in the editing because she kind of rambles on which does not fit into the narrow way the show edits itself now where the tv time is dominated by the Coach's ,Russellls and Ruperts who are always giving soundbite answers.

If you have to work that hard to support her winning, and the reasons are still that weak, that just further makes my point. Natalie (like Sandra after her) had zero effect on the game prior to the final TC other than casting votes for the person Russell told her to. A stuffed shirt in her place would have given the EXACT same results. But then she regurgitated something about family at the final TC. Well, that's the very definition of outwit, outplay, outlast. There can be no doubt she is the ultimate survivor.

It's not ambigious it is taken from the interviews of those who were on the jury and voted for her. Survivor has always been largely a popularity contest at final tribal council .
And "deserving" to win is abritary. If you get more voted no matter the reason you deserve to win .
Keep in mind the tribal councils we see in the finals each season that are edited to a crisp 20 or 30 minutes or so go on for a couple hours. Like in Cook Islands for example the girl in the final 3 with Yul and Ozzy was probably asked questions by the jurors and she probably replied with answers but because she was not a factor in the votes and irrelevent to the edit of the show her season whatever questions were asked and whatever replies were given will sit in a vault forever.

1) Richard Hatch - he set the rules for how to win the game. He was the first of his tribe to be voted out in All-Stars because he is a major threat. If the Heroes vs Villians cast would have watched Samoa, Russell would have been in the same position
2) Tom Westman - His challenge performance alone puts him on this list.
3) Brian Heidek - One of the few "villians" to win the game. Doing so by taking along the most undeserving finalist is just genius.
4) Earl Cole - Great control of the game, super nice guy personality, I wish he would return just to see how far he could get in an all-star game.
5) Sandra - Her first win was against Lil, who was hated by the jury. However playing twice and winning both times is pretty hard to argue against no matter how she got to the end.
6) Russell Hanz - Finding Hidden idols without clues and having major control of both games he played puts him on this list.

You could have a senile grandma who is eligible to be elected President of the United States. But even though she remembers your birthday every year and just might know more about your kids than you do it doesn't mean she deserves your vote for president just because someone else entered her in the race. But if enough clowns vote for her as a joke then I guess you are saying that all changes.

Best player ever is still Richard Hatch. He told everyone on day one he was going to win, then he did.
