I don't really watch a lot of TV. If I do, it's usually sports. But I do like good stories and appreciate a decent TV show. I'm just trying to pick what I should focus on next.

Oh, that won't be the case with 24. 24 is like a drug, you need that fix not a slow drip.

This list should really begin and end with The Shield, but in case that's just not your thing:

The Shield
Sports Night
Arrested Development
Wonderfalls
Angel

The Sopranos first. Then 24. Then Battlestar Galactica (new). Then you won't need to watch shows anymore, beacuse after those three and LOST, TV will seem like dreck.

Battlestar Galactica
Alias
Dexter
True Blood
Twin Peaks
The Twilight Zone
Chuck
Six Feet Under
Medium
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel

I'm pretty much just listing off my favorite shows, though many of them should appeal to Lost fans IMHO...

Since the OP is primarily looking for something to stream off Netflix, I suggest 24---If your interested in an action/conspiracy themed show.

If you want a mythology show, you can try X-Files, which is also available to stream.

You he/she doesn't really watch scripted shows in the 1st place, I suggest you pick 1 thing and stick with it.

I don't mind renting off Netflix, either.

Re: What should I watch when LOST is over?

I've been re-watching Millennium (by Chris Carter of The X-Files fame) during the last few months as Lost winds down. Great mystery and mythos, though all three of the seasons are quite different. Wife never saw it and she seems to really like it so far. Plus Terry O'Quinn (Locke) has a fairly prominent role. Recommended if you've never seen it, and the DVDs can be found for pennies on the dollar.
