/\ Yeah, it should be a good one. I hope you don't mind if I started the thread and stole your pic from last week. I wasn't sure if you were around today to start one.

Since the episode is airing tonight, I'll spoilerize this just in case since alot of you don't watch the scenes from next week.

Damn, that was an awesome episode through and through. If it's not in the top 5, it easily makes top 10. I think all of the acting was top notch and Clark finally - for the first time? - seemed like he was making mature, calculated and rational decisions. The type that Superman would. It was also great that it was his intelligence that figured out the problem instead of his super powers. That was one element I always liked about the comics.
Plus he stopped short of helping Lois to let her do it on her own. I really hope Clark no kidding tells her in the next episode so that when we get to the finale they get a great heartbreaking scene to play off each other.
That short scene between Chloe and Clark was fantastic as well. It said so much about their relationship as well as where each of them has come from the beginning of the season.
I almost lost it when Martha saw 'Perry' standing in the doorway with the sun behind him.

I hated the maudlin sentimentality of Chloe at the end ..."I want to plug into the real world" crap.
Lois dumping Clark in front of his mom was just retarded.

I liked this episode alot mainly for seeing Martha and Perry again.
With Perry being a freelance reporter right now, I have to wonder if the writers will make the effort to transition him to the Daily Planet again. I guess that will probably depend on McKean's availability and what they decide to do in season 10. I loved the ode to Perry of the past when Lois called him "Chief."
That was messed up that Lois dumped Clark in front of Martha. I know she will come to her senses.

Finale so soon? This episode felt like they were building toward a few episodes before the finale.
So was Gil Bellows supposed to be Maxwell Lord?

wasn't the mind reader guy working for checkmate when we last saw him?
and did I miss it somewhere in the last few episodes where Lois got that phone that she was positive had the phone number for the red queen's organization? how/why did she think she had the number?

So does Lois being at the farm and her subsequent speech during dinner mean that she didn't give Clark an answer on the roof at the end of Charade? Or if she did it was "Yes, I still need you." even though she didn't necesarily believe it.

I just got caught up on all the episodes, and yeah, they called him Lord & Maxwell in the episode back when he first appeared.
