Funny episode, although I didn't like the showdown near the end... went on for too long and was annoying.

Perfect casting for the kids because I want to KILL THEM 10 seconds after they first time we were introduced to them.

For whatever reason I cannot get into Parks and Recreation so it's not the best block of comedy for me, but I enjoyed Community from the get-go and the show has only gotten better, as others have said. This show is really coming into it's own and setting itself apart from other sit-coms.

WHAT?!?! Parks and Rec is the BEST SHOW in that comedy block, hands down. Are you watching it and not enjoying it or do you flat out skip it - because if that's the case, give it another try - this season has been brilliant.

Reference fail.

He smashed the guitar like he was John Belushi.

It was all about Abed doing college-movie clichés...

P&R is a very flawed show. It overcomes many of the flaws nicely, but we're talking a show where two of the best characters by all rights have no reason to even be in the show (those of Rashida Jones and Chris Pratt).

I dare say Community has been the best show in the two hour block this year.

Parks has improved leaps and bounds from what it was last season. They're both great but right now I think Parks is more consistent episode to episode. Community is a close second though.

Parks is a great show because of the supporting cast, specifically Andy (who used to be awful), Ron Swanson, April, and Tom Haverford. They are amazing.

It also improved by leaps and bounds when they made Leslie Knope (Poehler) less of a flat-out idiot.

My main beef with the show now is the complete lack of any sort of chemistry between Mark and Ann. But I digress... Back to community discussion (which is now my favorite show of the Thursday block)!

I loved Abed's knock on Entourage when mentioning that without Pierce the group's lost it's scapegoat:

"We lost our Cliff Clavin, our George Costanza, our Turtle, or Johnny Drama, or E... man that show is sloppy."

I try an episode now and then but usually bail after 10 minutes or so. Just something about Amy Poehler that just grates on me...which is a shame because I really like the rest of the cast.

Hilarious episode. Community has been A+ it since episode 10 or so. This and P&R are killing over The Office and 30 Rock.

Troy's "solution" of having everybody pretend to be asleep was fantastic.

I don't think they are supposed to have chemistry since they have been hinting for a while now she lost interest in him and the relationship is going through the motions.

And the fact that
Spoiler:
the guy playing Mark is not returning next season
just further proves that the lack of chemistry is on purpose

I'm not sure it was always on purpose, but I do give the P&R writers credit with seeing there was no chemistry and responding.

Seems about right. His character adds little to nothing to the show. Aside from being the target of Leslie's affections and that ended last season. As Ann's BF he is a completely superfluous character.

I like how this became a Parks & Recreation thread, lol.

i must have missed the hints at Ann having lost interest... I normally pay attention during all the shows i watch, but could have missed something, I admit.
