The Good Wife -- "Boom" -- 04/27/10

Good Wife

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Alicia goes head-to-head in court with her former boss Jonas Stern and considers using personal information about him to aid her case. Meanwhile, Peter turns to religion to help with his appeal.

Episode 19 of 23

After being several weeks behind, I finally caught up watching this a few days ago. A very solid and compelling procedural with some small bits of a serial drama.

I read that Alan Cumming, who was introduced a few episodes ago, will be a fulltime character on the show next season.

Another fantastic episode. Probably the best written show on TV right now.
Where's the love, people?

So it seems the big break-up is finally coming next week. I wonder if the plot is going to a place where things get really bad and she makes an enemy out of her husband?

I love this show, and particularly enjoy watching how the legal/political maneuvering concerning former AG Florig plays out.

The performances of the cast members is consistently strong all around. The actor who plays Casey was great this episode. Kalinda is always brilliant, and is may favorite character.

One of the strongest episodes - LOVIN' this show!!

Kevin Conway

Alicia breaking down Stern in the courtroom - awesome and hysterical.

Also, enjoyed the first encounter between Eli Gold and Peter's mother. This was one of the few times I am rooting for Peter's mama as she disapproved of her son's spiritual path to repair his public image.

Great parting shot at the end.
