Nope. Russell and Jerri voted for Courtney.

Parvati and Danielle voted for Coach.

I agree. I've been paying close attention to Candice since show 1 because she was my (blind) pick for the DVDTalk Survivor game this round. At first, I thought I'd picked someone who'd be voted off right away, but she's surprised me.

I'm looking forward to Jeff's blog this week, because last week he said, "I promise next time to talk about the awesomeness of Candace. And she is awesome. Seriously." I'd like to hear his take since she hasn't had much screen time.

Courtney would be hot if she gained at least twenty pounds. She's prettier than all of the women left.

I get really sick of Jeff's constant "observations" at Tribal Council. And why the hell was the dumbass picking on Courtney for voting out Rob when she kept saying she wasn't at all a part of it?

at Russell's "help!" face. He won't think things are so funny when Sandra gets him.

I mean he's underperformed almost all season, but that first toss of the ball was ridiculous. That guy was nearly perfect his first time around and now he can't even roll a ball? Candice has been solid in challenges for like 3 weeks now and I don't think she gets any credit. Most of the females are dead weight and she's been very solid.
I'm oddly attracted to Courtney too, she's no Amanda but there's something about her I like, maybe it's her wise cracking during confessionals. But other than that, she is pretty useless.

So did Danielle and Parvati flip on Russell, or was that part of the plan so the Heroes would think there's a girl alliance on the Villains tribe.

I don't see the point of them voting for Coach to further the women's alliance plan. It's not like the Heroes get to see the vote tally.

I'm sure Russell knew Coach was leaving. His vote was strictly for a jury vote. He reminded Coach about trust and then signed his name next to his vote for Courtney.

There's another man gone, simple as that. I don't know what knowing the vote count would accomplish other than telling the Heroes they're wrong about the women's alliance.

Re: Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - 4/08/10

What was JT thinking looking for the idol? (EDIT - The spoiler is not based on any inside info, it's just based on next week's tease and meant for folks who don't watch the previews)
Spoiler:
I can almost understand next week's tease, JT may see giving the idol away as a way to keep the tribe from wondering what he would have done had Amanda not caught him finding the idol. Unless they want to take back the 'we're the dumbest tribe" title from the Villains it seems like a colossally stupid move. Even if they fear an all girl alliance and Russell going out, it would mean go into the merge at worst 5-5. If they keep the immunity idol and they believe in their own tribe's loyalty they could have one of the girls pretend to flip, find out who the Villains are voting for, play the idol and then vote out one of the villains and have the #'s in their favor going forward.

Is it silly to start the jury up so soon when the tribes are still split? I assume they'll sit in on tribal regardless of the tribe, but shouldn't they at least wait for a merge so all the jury members have an opportunity to at least meet everyone they might be voting for and at least have an attempt to wheel and deal for jury votes?

I'm surprised Courtney didn't hurt her leg sooner, she doesn't have any knees! Just an eight foot shin.

I thought the same thing, but did Jeff mention that the person voted off would be on the jury? (I missed a bit of the tribal council before the vote)

With 12 people in the game it's not a typical time to start the jury - Russell's a sharp guy but unless he knew this, why would he throw a vote to Courtney? Unless he just didn't care whether it was Courtney or Coach?

And has Sandra become even more useless than Courtney in challenges?

lol...Russell only voted for Courtney to make a play for Coach's jury vote. He knew Coach was going home and Sandra definitely played a part in it.

Jeff did mention Coach is the first member of the jury. Looks like a final 3 again this season.

Yeah but did he mention it before the vote that the person voted off would be on the jury?

Spoiler:
If JT is questioning giving the idol to Russell, it must mean they are merging and will be down 5-6. I guess he's offering up the idol for a vote. The preview suggests JT will give Russell the idol and JT will get voted out. I was wondering how they could be misleading us and thought maybe Russell turns down the idol and gets voted out himself. Although, that couldn't be the dumbest move ever made...so JT may be going home.

I hadn't even thought of that. Doesn't seem that fair does it?

Well, 20 person seasons usually have 9 person juries. Makes sense that Russell figured Coach would be on the jury.

Subtle as a sledgehammer, that one.

It's too bad for Russell that Coach already thinks he's a piece of shit.

I don't think Jeff said anything, but I'm sure the players are told when the jury starts. If not, last season's jury had 9 members so Russell could have just been playing off past experience.

Love Courtney dishing it back at Jeff when he called her out when she wasn't the one who targetted Rob last week.

The villians better say their prayers and eat their vitamins and hope a merge is coming at f11 or f10.

I hope this episode is foreshadowing to Amanda and Candice having a cuddly alliance that dominates once the merge occurs.

Re: Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - 4/08/10

By the way, the logic behind splitting up Sandra and Courtney on separate teams in the immunity challenge was? So they could crater 2 of the runs in a best of 3 challenge? Why not just stick them on the same team, tell them not to even bother and minimize the negative impact? About the only thing worse they could have done was put one of them in the one on one contest.

Was anyone else wondering if Russell was going to tank the reward challenge after he threw the first gutterball?

Ahhh - very good point. Thanks, it makes sense now. (It seemed like he knew Coach would be on the jury by the way he signed his vote for Courtney, but I couldn't piece together how he might have known)

Russell reminds me of Mao Zedong. He's completely paranoid and power-obsessed.

It'd be SO awesome if JT gave the HII to Russell! HAHAHAHA
