Re: Parenthood -- "The Big O" -- 04/06/10
I kept waiting for Haddie or Max to walk in on Adam and Kristina having sex. I can't imagine how traumatic that would have been for Max to see.
The first time we see Craig T. Nelson in this episode had me laughing my head off with his disheveled hair and unkempt appearance.
When is Lauren Graham going to play a parent who won't kiss her daughter's teacher?
Minka Kelly surprised me here. I thought she was the weakest link in the Friday Night Lights cast, but here she holds her own against Peter and Monica.
In the last episode, we saw Adam trying to connect with Max only to see Drew connect with him effortlessly. Here's it's Kristina's turn. I'm betting next episode, we'll see Haddie trying to connect with Max and failing.

Huh? Sarah Ramos is 19 playing 15, and Mae Whitman is 22 playing 17. That is hardly a stretch when compared to the age differences between actor and character on other shows like Smallville, 90120 and Gossip Girl.

Lauren Helen Graham (born March 16, 1967)
Not bad for 43. And considering the "half plus 7" rule, she is prohibited from dating any Otters younger than 28. This excludes nearly everybody here EXCEPT us old-timers.

Awesome episode.
Good balance of all the storylines. Minka Kelly was a good guest star.
Adam and Sarah's discussion of fake orgasms was probably some of the funniest dialogue I have ever heard on this show.
I like Jason Ritter's character and I think he has good chemistry with Lauran Graham. The multiple choice date letter was nice and I liked the final scene with them together.
I'm really impressed with Dax Shepherd. He's handled the role of Crosby really well and I liked the scene where he told Mom and Pop Braverman about Jabbar.
Adam and Kristina's final scene where she said it was the "Real Deal" was solid. I'm in love with this show.

Glad they gave Craig and Bonnie something to do. I am surprised they are not giving them more scenes.
Thought the dating the Teacher plot was right out of Gilmore Girls which is funny because I have just started watching Gilmore Girls from the start, never having seen it, and I love the show and especially Lauren Graham.

Please let this not be another episode of Max being a whiny brat.
