Re: Parenthood -- "The Situation" -- 03/30/10
I don't think Bedelia and Nelson have been in an episode together since the premiere.
I thought it was ok. This series is similar to Brothers & Sisters in that the scenes where the siblings are interacting with each other are much better than the individual stories. |

I just checked and Lauren Graham is 13 years older than Jason Ritter. If I were him, I would be all over that. Hot MILF. Hopefully he has better chemistry with her than the bald schlub barista.

I liked Jason Ritter and thought he had some decent chemistry with Lauren Graham. Better than the bald schlub from a few episodes ago.

I wish this series existed in the real world.

It was a good episode overall with the exception of Max getting on my nerves. "Max demands ice cream, so screw you and your water breaking. Maybe we can drop you off at the hospital AFTER he gets his Cherry Garcia" |

"Max demands ice cream, so screw you and your water breaking. Two of the best in television trading dialogue with each other. If I had called one of my friend's parents by their first name, my parents would have heard about it and put a stop to it. I was raised to address my friend's parents as Mr. and/or Mrs. No exceptions. I still can't call my friend's parents by their first names even though we're both adults. It's too weird. I kept waiting for Adam to go off on Steve about that. Once I realized that Mr. Cyr was played by Jason Ritter, I could see the resemblance to his father. It was a little hard to see due to the soul patch, but it's definitely there. Good thing his dad didn't do anything romantically with Lauren in Bad Santa. That would. be. awkward. now. |
