Both my wife and I were interested in giving this a shot and Papa killed it for us both. He's so unlikable and annoying that he ruins the entire show. We actually kind of enjoyed the celebrity banter, but anything involved with Papa became instantly detestable. It's a shame, Seinfeld seemed to really cash in his favors and friends to get the celebrity panels, but it's wasted on that host assclown.

I gave it a chance but really lost interest about half way through. I honestly can't say I give two squirts of a rat's rear end what three celebs think about common marriage problems of regular people.

I've only seen Thursday's episode, and I was shocked at how unfunny and forced the show felt. Everyone on the panel seemed uncomfortable - like they knew it wasn't working out. The couples' scenes were all way to scripted and poorly acted - but I don't see how else they could do it. The format of the show is broken and doesn't make sense.
Where it fails biggest is that it just isn't interesting. Why do I want to spend an hour watching couples bicker over the stupidest shit?

i tried telling my gf how awful it was (as i read here), but she insisted we flip to it for a bit on thursday night.
we didn't last 5 minutes. they cut to eva longoria like 12 times, and she never even said a word. just sat there awkwardly fake-laughing.
terrible.

I caught about 5 minutes of this online and thought it was horrible--and I even liked the comedians. I don't know why Seinfeld would have sunk so much into this.

NBC: "Jerry! We totally fucked up this Leno thing. Here's a dump truck of money...do you have ANY ideas we could use?"

Plus the things they were arguing over were kinda bizarre. That wife with the effeminate ex-cop has bigger problems than his hygiene fetish.

I'm honestly surprised at the amount of "I'm shocked at how awful this was" comments. There wasn't a single thing in the heavily-ran promo that was even mildly amusing. If you can't scrape together 2 or 3 funny bits for the promo, why think the actual show would be any better?

Caught about the first 5 minutes of Thursday's episode before I had to turn it off. Just fucking awful. From top to bottom, there isn't a single redeeming quality to this show.

Jerry should just do a 'Jackie Gleason' and come out next week, apologize for this horrible show and end it.

Watched for a bit because I didn't want to get off the couch, turned it off half way. Show was a little better, but still pretty bad.
It was hilarious how the panel just kept ripping on the show. That was really the only redeeming aspect.

About as redeeming as Leno making fun of his prime time show.

Even having the dream team of Larry David and Ricky Gervais didn't make this show watchable.
The couples are annoying, their arguments are stupid, the host is unlikeable, the audience laughs way too hard and often and the show lasts an HOUR.
I can't imagine how bad it will be when they use up all the good celebrities and have 3 unfunny B-listers on the panel.

Madonna and Larry made it bearable for about a half hour, but then even they couldn't keep me entertained after that.
I'm not a big fan of reality tv and don't know what "America" seems to like, I mean, the Bachelor seems to keep going on and on and that Biggest Loser show is a hit, from what I understand and I couldn't watch those or even Dancing with the Stars, so maybe people will like this.
Personally, if I had a vote, I'd want this show canceled pronto. It's terrible and I have to wonder if Larry hasn't called Jerry and told him the exactly that.

For what it's worth, I thought tonight's show was hilarious. Madonna, Larry and Ricky were extremely funny throughout, and I thought it was the best episode, yet!

I'm a huge fan of the Seinfeld show and Curb your Enthusiasm shows, but this show is just plain bad and awful, and needs to be canceled right away!

Larry David is figgin' funny, full stop. When he and Gervais joked about starring in a new hetero-roommate show I momentarily giggled with delight until I remembered they were joking. They (especially Larry) definitely carried the water for this episode, and I agree that the funniest bits were when they mocked the entire premise of the show and their even being there at all.
