Rosseau had the same kind of burn scar as Claire showed last night, didn't she? I thought I remembered seeing it.

Most hospitals don't allow parents to operate on children (and vise versa).

Hence the old brain teaser about "I can't operate on this boy -- he's my son!"

That's the 1960 solution. 50 years later, the solution is that the two doctors are GayMarried™.

I think that with these two allusions, Lost may have given us an inkling of a two-way link between our current plot threads. Just as the mirror in "Looking Glass" allows Alice to see and even step through to an alternate world, the mirror in the lighthouse allows islanders to see the outside (alternate?) world. Similarly, just as Alice follows the rabbit down the rabbit hole to enter an alternate world in "Wonderland", the key under the rabbit statue might imply that this house holds the key to communicate with, or maybe even enter, the island world.

Interesting thoughts.

Sorry to start with speculations about the season finale, but no one will read it in the previous thread. :p

From interviews, the producers have always said that they have always known the last 3-5 scenes of the show. Almost since the beginning. So somehow I doubt that Jacob and MiB will be involved in the series finale. That's because everybody is commenting about the substitutes and that will be the series finale last scene.

Maybe we will learn something new in today's episode. And no, I haven't read any spoiler about today's show, or any future episode. I have kept my promise of being spoiler free this season.

In the finale we will find out that the island is really Walt.

One of the reflections in the mirror should've been a dog house.

Didn't we see regular Vincent with Rose & Bernard in 1977? I would imagine they've all leaped forward to 2007 with Jack, et al.

There's no guarantee there's even an alt Vincent. What if David Shepard is really Vincent, but reincarnated as a human instead of a dog in the NC reality?

My guess is they wanted to use Julie Bowen as Jack's ex but she was busy on Modern Family. From this pic it looks like they used a generic actress in place of her. See the family pics on the left-hand side.

Yep.. I think its irrelevant who the mother is and we will never find out. The fact he has a son is the main factor here in the NC timeline.
