Well, I rushed home from work to catch the start of the US/Russia women's curling match on USA at 11 am and I see...some stupid movie on. Thanks for the heads up on the change, NBCOlympics.com.

According to Yahoo's TV listings, coverage will start at noon, with an hour lopped off. That's one hour less that I get to gaze at Nicole Joraanstad.

My listings have always shown the match as running from noon to 3pm EST. I don't think you'll be missing any of the match (other than the bits that are always missed during the commercials).

Yep: noon to 3 pm. Always been listed that way.

I've always been relying on NBC's site, which still says:



And it's not even currently streaming on the site.

Yeah, you're right. I made a mistake in my last post; looks like we'll get the full three hours, just tape delayed. Wish I would've checked that before I rushed home from work. I haven't been able to catch any US curling and, with how the team's doing, my opportunities are shrinking.

While I'm waiting...boy, daytime TV sucks.

EDIT: Okay, I'm an idiot. That grid defaulted to an affiliate in the central time zone. They get the match broadcast live. I just changed it so it lists my affiliate. My apologies, NBCOlympics.com and USA.

I can't believe they beat Idol in the ratings. Granted, it was a banner day for the US, with most of the top names, but still.

I'm not surprised hockey is staying on MSNBC. The 3ET NBC broadcast will be showing this Olympic "event": Figure skating - men's gold medal final analysis. They've already shown the actual event, why do they need even more broadcast hours on a different day to "analyze" it? More reasons why I hate figure skating. It's not sport, it's soap opera.
