Can anyone identify the song they played at the dance? Because Shazam sure couldn't.

Why did my DVR not record this tonight? All I got was Office and 30 Rock.

Something about it seemed really familiar but I cant place it either. Though it could just be the whole thing was pure 80's move montage.

Someone needs to do a screencap of Brita at the end ASAP. Very nice.

It's a scene form "Breakfast Club".

It almost sounds like a parody/copy of a Black Eyed' Peas song.

The song they were dancing to during the drunk scene (the tribute to The Breakfast Club) was "We are not alone" by Karla Bonoff, though it sounded like a different version than used in the original movie. A remake, maybe?

Re: Community -- "Communication Studies" -- 02/11/10

When Abed described one person seeing another as a sitcom staple, my wife turned to me and said "does that really happen in a lot of sitcoms?" I replied "I know there was an episode of Friends where Chandler walked in on Rachel in the shower," and my wife said "True. They also did it on Who's the Boss." Which made it even funnier when Abed went to those two shows as his examples.

i will admit Brita looked pretty damn good all dolled up at the end, but she's still no Annie.

She looks way better not dolled up. That lipstick was awful!

This is the first full episode of this series that I've seen since the pilot. Looks like I might start watching it regularly.

Yeah, the pilot stunk, but now the show is perhaps my favorite after Psych and 30 Rock.

She has her moments, but she definitely had a look where I could overlook her Forrest Whittaker eye.

I loved the Abed inflection/sarcasm bit in the beginning and when Troy said "You work at Princeton?" to Annie.

This is the second show this season with a John Hughes slant (the first being One Tree Hill last week).

Community beat One Tree Hill to the punch. Abed did the whole "Christmas at the Bender house" speech in the pilot.

Mine was recorded at 3:30am because NBC local did a Haiti special in its place at 8:00.

I am pro-Annie but Britta looked pretty darn (I censored myself) good at the party at the end.
