One Tree Hill -- "Don't You Forget About Me" -- 02/01/10

One Tree Hill season 7

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
An homage to the late John Hughes finds loved ones forgetting Haley's birthday, Jamie being left home alone, and Nathan and Clay getting stranded far from home. Meanwhile, Julian recalls his dorky teen years as he watches Brooke attend a dance with Alexander.

Sounds like another fun episode. Very cool a tribute to John Hughes.

Back to back fun episodes - exactly what OTH should be. Very nice Hughes tribute.

The Aussie chick had a smokin' body.

I have never seen the show, but for some strange reason I watched this episode

Found it okay - I did like the Hughes references.

Like Nathan's comments to Clay about falling 'insanely in-love with the pig'.

Was it because your a Cheap Trick fan? The show is very heavily serialized, I would have been totally lost just randomly tuning into this episode.

Re: One Tree Hill -- "Don't You Forget About Me" -- 02/01/10

Loved this episode very fun and I liked the tribute to Hughes films.

So Jamie's bit was Home Alone

Haley's segment was 16 Candles

Mouth and the blonde was Weird Science

Nate and Clay was Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Brooke/Julian was Pretty in Pink.

Was there any others that I am missing?

The opening was a tribute to Breakfast Club.

Brooke and Julian in the half-car and the Aussie having her hair cut - 16 Candles.

Pouring the squishie liquid on someone - Weird Science

Wasn't Clay's car the same one from Ferris Bueller? Alex was also dressed like Sloane from Ferris Bueller.

Jamie's extra large pancake - Uncle Buck.

The Kristi Swanson cameo was nice too.

I'd would have licked that squishie right off of her. It was also cool seeing Cheap Trick and I liked the 2 new songs they sang. May have to check out their new CD The Latest.

Yeah, I found out about a month ago that Cheap Trick would be on, so for that reason I was looking forward to the episode. I was kinda lost, but the throwbacks to John Hughes were pretty cool.

Never knew much about One Tree Hill except that Chad Michael Murray was on it - until someone told me a few weeks ago that he left the show.
