Better Off Ted -- "Mess of a Salesman" -- 01/26/10

Better Off Ted

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Ted helps his brother (Eddie McClintock) land a job as a salesman for a company that supplies Veridian with lab equipment, which has consequences for Phil and Lem. Meanwhile, Veronica receives an award from a charity for girls. Mr. Page: Rick Hoffman.

This is episode 11, there is 2 more left.

Still hoping for Linda to finally let her hair down and sleep with Ted before the series is over.

Veronica had the best lines in this episode. "The forest will run red with the blood of the furry little creatures that doubted Veronica!"

I love Veronica's thing with Headbutting.

Also, maybe it's just me, but having a pretty girl threaten to rip my head off and tinkle on my skull doesn't NOT sound like a bad thing...

Holy hell I love this show. I managed to get 2 new people hooked on it over the weekend.

So, weird coincidence...I've been watching the whole run of Friends over the past 2 months and last night, I saw the actor who plays Phil in an episode, and about a week ago I saw the Season 8 finale which had the guy who played Ted's brother tonight. I just thought that was funny.

"Deal with it!"

Loved the slide show Lem and Phil had of their plan.

Very funny episode, loved the quip about the processing of information and emotions between the 2 pairs (lab guys, brothers).

"And while I'm gone, I want you two to think about what you'd rather have for Christmas: a wind tunnel, a family of robots, or a corpse."

Re: Better Off Ted -- "Mess of a Salesman" -- 01/26/10

I am going to miss this show so much if ABC doesn't renew it for a third season.

The confrontation between Linda and the Foundation Guy was hilarious with Veronica in the background instructing her...

"Go Linda, release your anger...Good Linda, only your hatred can destroy him...Yes, now strike!" Then her follow up: "I am a good mentor!"

Ted killed me with "Just don't go to the 4th Floor, that's where we keep the monster factory...just kidding." It was so lame, but so funny.

Lem and Phil both saying "Deal with it" was great as was Lem wearing the leather pants. And Phil's cheese ball: "And I wouldn't have squeezed ten cubes of cheese into a ball and eaten it like an apple, which I should not have done...but I am dealing with it..."

http://watching-tv.ew.com/2010/02/18...rington-pilot/

Yes, he’s shooting the NBC pilot Nathan Vs. Nurture, but it’s definitely “in second position,” he says, and is “in no way to distance myself from Ted.”

Harrington told me, “I have had many conversations with [Ted creator] Victor Fresco, and we are both extremely hopeful that ABC will give us [another] shot, so we shall see.”

As chipper and straightforward as the intelligent eccentric he plays on TV, Harrington adds, “Please share my sincere gratitude with the BOT fans that have stuck with us.”
