I think Chuck is one of my favourite shows currently on TV. LOST is one of my favourite shows OF ALL TIME. I do agree that it's very hard to compare the two because they have very different aims.

I assume you are asking which show I like more, in which case Lost is the clear winner. I'm very intrigued as to where Lost will end up, while I simply enjoy watching Chuck when it's on TV.

Exactly. Chuck is an awesome show, definitely in my top 5, but Lost is on a whole other level.

Can't really compare them, but LOST went from great to ok to mediocre to dumb since the premiere. Chuck has at least maintained quality (and actually somewhat improved) over a shorter run.

im finally breaking down and watching the lost seasons on netflix
season 1 was pretty good.. season 2 basically sucked.. and Im on season 3 now, which so far has sucked.. i hope it gets better

When I watch LOST, I need to make sure I'm not multi-tasking I'm fully committed to watching. The more I pay attention to every little detail, the more I enjoy it.

Seasons 2&3 are the low points. Season 4 is pretty good, but Season 5 is when the show gets great again.

Season 2 was awful.

Both are awesome shows...If they were on at the same exact time...I would probably watch Lost since I know more people that watch it and there is a greater chance of someone spoiling something for me...

Season 3 was a disaster, all the shows were fillers with nothing happening, random new people on the island we had never seen before and Jack's tattoos, a whole show about saving Ecko's life and then killing him off the very next one, after that, I just couldn't take anymore crap. I quit. Some have told me "it gets better" but I refuse to watch crap until it gets better... When a show is content to deliver mediocre quality just because they have good ratings and try to keep the sh0ow going for as long as they can while not delivering any quality, it's time to let the sucker go. That bullshit season 3 is when half the fanbase started giving up on the show as well.

Lost getting better seemed to coincide perfectly with the decision to make season 6 the final season. Season 2 seemed like they were just making up shit as they went along and the first half of season 3 made it seem like they were stretching things out because they didn't know how many more episodes they had to tell the story.

Through, I agreed that you cannot compare Chuck with Lost - I don't really want to hijack it, but wanted to say something...

That's pretty weird - I also just started Lost via Netflix (I'm on last episode of S2). I thought Lost is just a meh - all main characters sucks (except for Mr. Ecko) and storyline are too predictable.

I guess I'll wait till S4 - S5 to see if the show really turned around...
