Yet I can access the Craigslist posting with no problem. Seems that a service which costs nothing has more money for servers than NBC.

I go, ‘yeah, I'll take the show back. If that's what he wants to do. .
I really have no respect for Jay Leno. Does he really expect people to believe that he's such a push over that he just HAS to do whatever NBC tells him to? If he really wanted Conan to be successful he wouldn't have done THE JAY LENO show and steal his thunder. He wouldn't have agreed to moving Conan back to 12:05. He wouldn't have agreed to taking back The Tonight Show.
From this fiasco it looks like he has no principles.

about 4:55 in the video. Dave: "No, I'm not angry. I'm not angry at NBC about this, not angry at Jay Leno about this, not angry at you or the Tonight Show about this. Realistically, if it were not for you, I wouldn't have a show . . . Now, if the network had come to me and they say, 'Dave, we'd like you to have this show,' and then a week later they said, 'Dave, we don't want you to have this show,' then you could be angry about that.

It's weird to see Letterman say that back then, and then seeing the now with Conan.
Also, the Stern clip warning Conan that Leno wouldn't really let him have the Tonight Show.

Conan O'Brien is losing "The Tonight Show" but he'll be getting a $32.5 million consolation prize courtesy of NBC ... sources tell TMZ.
In return, we've learned Conan has agreed to sit on the bench until September. Translation -- he can't host another show until the fall.
In addition to the $32.5 mil, we've learned NBC is also paying severance to Conan's "Tonight Show" employees. In all, we're told NBC's payout is around $40 million.
But Conan probably won't see close to the $32.5 mil. Under the deal, any money Conan makes during the remaining contract period with NBC will offset the network's obligation. So, if Fox were to make a deal with Conan and pay him $25 mil during the NBC contract period, Conan would only score $7.5 mil from NBC.
One well-placed NBC source told us something surprising -- looks like NBC may keep its intellectual property rights. So Conan can't take his creations -- such as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and the Masturbating Bear -- to his next gig.
We're told the Conan/NBC deal still isn't completely done, but it's very close.

Does this mean they're going to start everything they show thirty minutes later? Maybe if they push the Olympics back an hour they'll make back that $200 million they lost.
