So the season is over after tonight. Seems to have flown past. Nothing really stood out for me as the best episode while past seasons have had breakaway quotables. I worry that the show may have peaked.

IMO, this was the strongest season since season 2, there was no best as there were several that were just flat out fantastic.

Great season finale.
With Kitten Mittens, the Road Trip episode and Intervention episode I think this has been one of the strongest seasons.

great season and great episode. i thought this season was much better than last season.
frank in the skinny pants killed me in the beginning.
the charlie and frank conversation about mayo/shampoo was great too.
i really wish they would do a few more eps a season.

That rant was awesome ("Hey Banana Ass!"). So was Dennis shrieking that the frat boys were "IDIOTS!" while amped up on Ridderall and his pissing in the "rival" bar. Dennis was definitely the MVP of the episode (though Charlie's Good Will Hunting speech was also pretty awesome).

My only grip with this episode is that Penn frats, in my experience, would be slightly different. But I wasn't at all of them so it's not like my knowledge is exhaustive.
(Well, the students. There were too many blonde dudes. The girls were all probably Drexel students.)

Any word if they will air the Christmas Special on FX? Someone had posted here it would be considered the finale, but that didn't happen. I'm sure they want to milk the dvd for all its worth, but an edited version shown as a special would be cool.

Peaked? Laugh out loud. If that was asserted during the pathetic season last year I'd be more inclined to agree. But this season was great. Like how CYE atoned for its utterly hapless fifth season the year after, this one did this year. My only gripe was Night's non-cameo. Entourage is worthy of his presence, but not this program?
