Picked up the Volume 2 soundtrack and it's not as good as Volume 1.

I'll stand by you and You're having my baby are freaking awful tracks. I would have much rather had the 1:09 Papa Don't Preach Track instead of both of those.

There is probably 6-7 tracks that are pretty good. The rest is just mediocre.

A lot of this music works best when it's visual and taken within the context of the show. Outside of that, it's kind of like listening to a collection of karaoke songs.

Dunno... "Bust Your Windows" is fun to listen to. The songs that I'd REALLY like to hear more than anything else though are the mash-ups (like "Don't Stand So Close To Me/Young Girl"). They make the music NOT karaoke.

I will miss having new episodes.

Oddly, it looks like the first half of the season will hit DVD on 12/29...

God I love this show. Don't know what I'm gonna do without it until APRIL.

I was almost in tears so many times during this episode, and they finally came down at the end. I LOVED(!!!!) the final number where they recreated all the numbers they've done over the course of the season, and Will finally runs to Emma and kisses her.

Agreed. It was perfection from beginning to end. I wonder what their production schedule was like, because this seemed like they were going all out just in case they weren't renewed/extended, but seeing as how they knew pretty early on I suspect that isn't the case. Regardless, the episode was everything I have come to love about the show.

Yeah it really was a nice way of showcasing everything they've been through and how much they've grown. They really are a family and it was nice to have them all show Will how much they care and appreciate what he was done, and the song just so happened to help him realize how much Emma means to him...

I don't really want to spend $30 for half a season, but I don't think I'm going to be able to resist; I'm definitely going to want to run through the first 13 before the back 9.

EDIT: Glad Sue finally got in trouble. Obviously she'll be back and causing more problems, but it's nice she got some "payback" for once; still, you gotta love her.

If they get some commentaries in the DVD set I'll probably pick it up. Otherwise I'm waiting.

EDIT: Just checked TVShowsonDVD and according to one of their sources they say that there will be a Full Season 1 Set released sometime in Mid-2010, but that this first release will contain a voucher or coupon of some sort towards the purchase of the Full Season Set.

The fall finale was great. I loved how that the sectional judge said the deaf kids should have gotten off the stage.

I really love this show. I always feel happy after watching it. I hope it stays around for a long time.

I believe all of the songs that have appeared on the show are on youtube, if you know how to, there is a way to make mp3 verrsions of youtube clips (i am shocked as hell that Fox hasn't taken them down), i'm also surprised at the popularity of some of the songs.

I don't know what their prior history is with things like this, but it seems Fox is one of the few companies who realizes the importance of any exposure you can get.

at least 5 of the glee covers have over a million views, and apparently vol 2 of the soundtrack is no 1 on itunes. I'd love to see it debut at no.1 on the top 200 charts
