A subtle thing I like about Owen is that he calls his father 'daddy'. I do the same, but you never really hear men calling their fathers that on tv (or in real life for the most part). I think that Terry will work out well at the dealership. I'm sure that he and Marcus will bump heads quite a bit.
I'm not crazy about Romano, but I love Braugher and Bakula. Lisa Gay Hamilton is terrific as Melissa as well. I can't wait for season two.

Think about it this way. If she wanted to date a guy who was going to blow her off to spend time partying with his friends, she can find plenty of men her own age to do that. I think a woman dating a man twice her age has different expectations about how he is going to behave.

I think Nina completely blew Ray off. I guess she didnt want to deal with certain kinds of disfunction.
The actress playing her is in her 30s, but its not out of the realm of possibility she's playing a woman in her 40s.

Well I finally saw the finale, and fuck... it really hit me with Terry. Im in my 20s and not going through having the change my life, but where everything just seemed to crumble and turn to shit really mirrored me at the moment.

A promo I half-heartedly watched made it seem like something really huge was going to happen this episode, so I watched it expecting something big.
When they were waiting for him and had to walk into his bedroom to wake him up, did anyone else think that Terry had killed himself? They had set-up his depression pretty well all episode.

I thought that he might've killed himself for a second before I remembered that this isn't that type of show.

Sweet, I'm not totally alone. I really think the writers were trying to make us think suicide, even if they never plan for such a thing in the show.
And while I realize that it is a light drama, there have been similar surprises in TV history I imagine, and the promo fit with a suicide. As it was, I'm not sure what the 'big change' the promo pimped ended up being.
