I remember Joe Millionaire, and the hilarious subtitles of supposed sex noises one of the dates with the runner up and "Joe" in the woods.

Re: Top 10 most viewed episodes of the decade!
From Wikipedia with regard to the sex scene in Joe Millionaire:
and on Zora "winning":
... In the show's sauciest scene Kozer appeared to go into the woods to fellate Marriott. Marriot and Kozer claim no sex acts occurred. In the VH1 program Secrets of Reality TV she alleges that her statement "let's go somewhere quiet" was in fact spoken while she was receiving a back massage from another female contestant and that the producers dubbed it in during post editing and added kissing sound effects and the subtitles 'slurp, gulp, slurp' to make the scene more salacious. The show's editors corroborated this fact later in an interview for Radar magazine.
... Zora would later explain in the VH1 show Secrets of Reality TV 2 that Marriott told her via cell phone that he did not choose her but Fox insisted he do so.

I was hoping that I didn't post in that JM thread, but no such luck. I remember bailing on the show early since none of the chicks were attractive, but I guess even I succumbed to the lure of the finale reveal.

One of my favorite memories of a night around a TV was that first finale of Survivor. My fiance and I had just moved in together and we had a whole taco/mexican food night planned for it. We also watched Joe Millionaire from premeire until finale. (Looking back I don't know what we were thinking watching all those FOX reality shows...JM, Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance, Paradise Hotel, etc.) I was never interested in any of those scripted shows and my interest in WWTBAM and AI had long since vanished.
If Sorkin hadn't left (and the resulting plummeting of the show), I'd like to think that The West Wing's finale would have been on that list. It's crazy how those writers basically wrote the '08 election cycle two years before it occured.
Not surprising that all of the scripted shows (except GA) on the list occured int he first half of the decade. A lot of good shows either were killed off by the reality TV trend or were cancelled before they had a chance so crap like Are you Smarter than my Beauty and the Geek Bachelor? could be put on the air to entertain the Idiocracy.

I don't remember if I posted in that thread, but I know I watched JM's finale. Don't believe I have seen the rest, although I think I remember seeing the Frasier episode in syndication later.

Pretty sure that I didn't catch any of those ten. Maybe the Frazier and Everybody loves Raymond ones if I was at my parents at the time.
