Re: Jersey Shore - Or What Could Be the Greatest Reality Show EVER

I don't know how many eps there were this season, but it went waaaaaaay too quick. This show started as a guilty pleasure, but there's no guilt any more. I was talking at work the other day and my boss even admitted he watched too.

I can't believe it's over already; if MTV has any sense at all, they have to follow it up somehow. Sad thing was, this was lightning in a bottle and I hope they can catch something similar again. I could see quickly tuning out to season 2 with a different cast because it's just copycats and nowhere near as good.

I don't see how they can bring back the same cast. When they were filming, the other people in Seaside just knew them as a group of people followed by a film crew. And people still wanted to start fights with them.

If MTV knew how popular this would be (or had an accurate gauge of their demographic) I'm sure that they would have stretched out their available footage to double the episode count.

Because she's a f'ing c*nt - plain and simple. What a crappy personality and a bummer of a person to hang out with.

Should this show come back for S2 -- just go with Pauly and Mike. The rest of the group didn't do much for me except for when Jwoww spinning back-fisted Mike in Atlantic City

Looked like just made fro reunion drama to me. Ronnie was laughing a making jokes the whole show, even when he and Sammi got up into the "hot seats". I'm sure he'd seen that footage before, hell they showed something similar on the after show a couple of weeks ago and he wasn't phased by it.

did they just steal tons of shit from the house?

When they all moved in, they each had a suitcase and a bag. When they were leaving, there were boxes all over the place.

Bring back Vinny for his spot on commentary about other people and Bring back Ronnie because DO YOU REALIZE THAT NEXT AUGUST EVERY JUICEHEAD IN THE TRI-STATE AREA WILL BE GUNNING TO BE THE GUY THAT KICKED RONNIES ASS ON JERSEY SHORE II?

It will be like hunting season.

I was cracking up when JWOWW was going nuts over "gorilla juiceheads" on the beach.

That reunion had some horribly edited audience applause/reactions.

As for the actual episode...why did they all leave at different times? They all drove there, one big goodbye would have cut it. Though not for television purposes maybe.

Jersey Shore 2 : Open Season

With his mad dance skills, it could also be Ronnie 2: Electric Boogaloo .

Since snooks will likely get "snookin for love" i think they might spin everyone into their own show, considering how hard up TV is for reality programming.

"Jwowowow: 2 Tits to Paradise"
She travels around and snogs various men, all while claiming to be faithful to her boyfriend. "Head biting off" optional.

Pauly D, Mike and Vinny would actually make for interesting watching, as they balance out each other's weaknesses, and highlight their personality strengths. I would watch them walk the earth and just have adventures, but it would make for compelling TV if they investigated various low level crimes. perhaps at the end they could battle the beat in celebration, and then ride off to the strains of whatever music they listen to, kinda like the endings of "Supernatural"

Sammi and Ronnie. I think they could make a show where they continuously argue over whether to be known as Sonnie, or Rammi. they make up, break up, into infinity. Obvious Katy Perry Tie in "Hot and Cold" as the theme song.

Angelina Who?
Speaks for Itself.

I wouldn't mind if they turned the concept on its ear and showcased the important things she does as a bartender, such as making the lame walk, curing the infirm, and chopping up garnish and filing the ice trays.

Hahaha, I think this would be the first time the renew a reality show on MTV (not like "The Hills" which is basically scripted) but something like this...

The reunion show was the most painfully uncomfortable hour on tv I have seen in a long time. Did Ronnie and Sam really breakup on tv like that, or is it like all the other fights they have had and just made up afterwards.

You fucking kidding me?? He IMMEDIATELY went into her room (where she was under the covers) and confessed how much he loves her and how sorry he is for (insert wrong-doing here). She then berated him for (insert wrong-doing here) and told him she's been "traumatized" by his actions. They had some make up "smushing" after he pussed out for 30 minutes and tomorrow it will happen all again... at least that's how I think it goes down.

I think that's one reason why it worked so much better than Real World. RW is ridiculous with the hour-long episodes and much longer season - it was much better in half-hour blocks.

I'd bring back Vinnie too - great interplay btwn him and The Situation.

That being said, I can't imagine how it would work as well - they would be constantly swamped since everyone would know them.
