I really liked last week episode. This season has been better than the last two, but of course not at the same level as the first one. There have been a lot of ups and downs this season.

I really hope they finish the show this spring.

I've enjoyed the heck out of season 4. It's just too bad that 2 bad/mediocre seasons have essentially killed the show's ratings.

I agree... and tonight's ep was a good one too.

No Suresh, Parkman, Hiro, Emma, Nikki (I forget which sis she is now)... makes for simpler stories/pacing.

Hopefully this season finishes strong and we can at least get a Season 5.

I thought this was WEAK.

Once again another Peter/Sylar confrontation completely wasted. No clue how Peter was able to absorb The Haitian's abilities, since past episodes seem to conclude that the nullification ability seems to be "always on".

It seems to be selective, like when Nathan was able to escape right out from under him in season one. Also, Eden was still able to use her powers standing right next to the guy while The Haitian was blocking Sylar's telekinesis.

If it ran at regular speed, you wouldn't be able to see his face change.

I was wondering about a nullification loop when Peter copied Renee's power.

Peter thinking Peter could kill himself that way, given Skylar's abilities, was pretty damn stupid.

Peter should have turned Sylars powers off before he hit the car, then again, when Sylar is ended it needs to be bigger.

Sylar needs to be drawn and quartered...in slow motion. Then, let animals feast on his body parts.

They would most likely have him regenerate into several Sylar clones, they really do need to end Sylar by the end of the season.

That really was embarrassing. I kinda dug the rest of it, though.

Re: Heroes -- "The Fifth Stage" -- 11/30/09

I really enjoyed part of this show and disliked some others. First, I'm sick and tired of Sylar. Enough is enough, kill him already. It's beyond boring at this point. They should have simply have him die when Parkman tried to commit suicide by being shot by the cops. But evidently, since nobody ever dies in Heroes, Parkman was fine.

I did enjoy the mid games to get Claire to help and stay, the carny stuff is by far the most interesting part of this season, but it's time it picks up.

I kept wishing that Sylar/Nathan would just push Peter off the edge of the building or at least pull him over when he fell.

Re: Heroes -- "The Fifth Stage" -- 11/30/09

So ummm, the fall "kills" Nathan but not Sylar? Peter wipes Sylar's memories but when Nathan emerges he still has Sylar's healing powers? If the Haitian's powers are always on how could Sylar shape shift in the elevator and again back to Nathan when Peter was "nailing" him?

The way T-Bag played up his popcorn, I thought it was mystical/drugged, or something! Turns out it was just really good popcorn.

Maybe it was and that's how he was able to show up the instant they finished.

Explain to me why Marvel isn't suing them for Jamie Madrox being in this episode?

I think it's a bit early to turn Claire. I know she so desperately wants to be a hero, but Indestrucitble Girl as a circus carny? Really?

The same reason DC isn't suing Marvel for Hyperion and Marvel isn't suing DC for Aquaman. Similar powers come up a lot, it's the characters that make them different.

Madrox is a private eye running a detective agency, this guy is a carnie. There are plenty of powers on this show similar to those of existing comic characters.

When he said that I turned to my wife and said "It's probably a bottomless tub of popcorn."

Check and mate, ladies.

So, is Hiro still dying or has that been thrown on the pile of abruptly discarded storylines?
