I liked this episode, but one thing that bugged the crap out of me was how often the word "distracted" or a form of it was used.
"Imagine" was great, and I loved "True Colors".

I've been noticing they've done that in pretty much every episode. It's like a sub-theme, in addition to the title of the show. This episode it was "distraction", and pertained to not just what the glee club was struggling with, but with Terri and Will at home.

This is the first time I've noticed it. Not sure why, but it kept ticking me off. Maybe it distracted me from the show.

Teri and her Sister are insanely funny. I also thought there was some nice moments with Quinn deciding to keep her baby then deciding to give it up again. But I get that I'm in the minority in that I don't mind that subplot.
So it was less laughs, more heart this week and that's ok with me.

Distraction was the theme of the episode. As Rachael explains "Hairography" is using the flashy hair to distract from problems with the dancing or vocals.

I thought Hairography was a made-up term for the show but it actually exists. I liked the flashy "Bootylicious" number and glad the Asian girl had the lead on "True Colors."

Add me to the list of people who almost choked with Imagine.
And True Colors was great, oh and I absolutely loooooved Quinn's Papa Don't Preach rendition.

By far the best episode to date I think! Like others, I started to choke up with Imagine, and even True Colors at the end got to me a bit. I loved the "Papa Don't Preach" song with Quinn and Puck, then Puck and to go and ruin everything with Quinn with what he told her at the end!
I can't believe this is going on hiatus until APRIL?!
Just a note: I went to download Imagine from iTunes, but unfortunately it doesn't appear to involve the voice of the deaf performer at all.

Like others, I was initially bothered by the McKinley kids joining then realized it made sense with the theme of the song. I've always liked signing to music.

The itunes version of Imagine without the deaf dude talking the words and ruining the song flow is much much better, has just the proper Glee cast. I know it's not the PC thing to say but it is.

I actually liked how it sounded in the show. Maybe because the whole scene. If I'm in my car and I'm listening to my ipod the itunes may be the best option. Hard to say since I haven't heard it.

In an interview, Chris Colfer (Kurt) confirms that the Deaf students were in fact Deaf.
That said, this was another tremendous episode. My only minor complaint was singing "Papa Don't Preach" for the kids. I don't think they were old enough to fully enjoy that performance But I liked that song being sung by Quinn to Puck. I just wish they had found a less contrived way to do it.
Other than that, between the great musical numbers, seeing the competition's performances, the outstanding "Imagine" number and a whole lot more, I cannot wait for the final two episodes, and FUCK Fox for holding it until April.
