Strange that they wouldn't try to work Scrubs/BOT into the Wednesday comedy lineup, but whatever. It looks like they're both set to come back on 12/8 though and start at 9pm.

I don't know if this is common knowledge yet so I'll spoilerize it:
Spoiler:
It'd be strange to have two shows back-to-back with Elizabeth Mitchell. She confirmed she's already shooting scenes for Lost's final season on The Bonnie Hunt Show this week. Plus, V is currently at 8PM. Moving it to 10PM doesn't make any sense.

Like the image. Better than most promo pics of the cast just standing looking bored.

Re: ABC books 'Lost' final season premiere date

I think it has more of a DaVinci feel:

Spoiler:
Specifically, Last Supper depicts the next few seconds in this story after Christ dropped the bombshell that one disciple would betray him before sunrise, and all twelve have reacted to the news with different degrees of horror, anger and shock.

Who's in It?
Looking across the picture from left to right:

•Bartholomew, James Minor and Andrew form a group of three. All are aghast, Andrew to the point of holding his hands up in a "stop!" gesture.

•Judas, Peter and John form the next group of three. Judas, you will note, has his face in shadow and is clutching a small bag (of silver?). Peter is visibly angry and a feminine-looking John seems about to swoon.

•Christ is the calm in the midst of the storm.

•Thomas, James Major and Philip are next. Thomas is clearly agitated, James Major stunned and Philip seems to be seeking clarification.

•Matthew, Thaddeus and Simon comprise the last group of three figures. It appears that, when a situation turns ugly, Simon is the "go to" guy for explanations.

Love the inclusion of
Spoiler:
Frank, Richard, and Claire, and interesting that Ilana is there as well. She a S6 regular? Sad Desmond isn't there, but that was sort of expected.

I thought that was a really cool photo until some one mentioned the Battlestar Galactica thing. Never saw that show before, so I hadn't seen this image either.

Spoiler:

Hey, at least Lost got the number of dinner guests right.

You have to wonder : Were they completely unaware of the BSG image or did they just not care about it?

Re: ABC books 'Lost' final season premiere date

I can't believe you guys are saying this is a Battlestar Galactica rip off. That's hilarious. It's of the last supper. And Lost obviously has many more reasons to use an image like that as inspiration than Battlestar Galactica did.

Edit: I guess somebody should tell Battlestar Galactica they ripped off the Sopranos and probably tens of other shows.

It's on the Food Network, but if you have Cablevision I may have some bad news for you.

I think we all realize that.

BSG did a great parody of the Last Supper picture...that's why only one year later, with Lost doing it...it just comes across as 'eh'.

The last supper has jumped the shark.

Even House did one.

I think people have been ripping off that concept for quite awhile.

Re: ABC books 'Lost' final season premiere date

Nice interview with Lindelof & Cuse about the final season:

Hollywood Reporter

THR: Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently?

Lindelof: Look, it would be nice to look back and say, "We love every episode of 'Lost,' and every episode turned out the way we wanted it to." There are shitty episodes of "Lost" that we wish we had never written. But had we not written them we would be in a different situation now, because we ran out of ideas, we stalled, then the network realized what we had been saying from early on -- that "Lost" needed an end date. And now here we are six years later on broadcast with a show that is -- not what it once was [in the ratings] -- but still performing, and we're ending it on our own terms because we had shitty episodes.

No.

There are fourteen people in the Lost picture, representing the regular cast for the final season.

There are twelve people (plus an empty seat) at the table in the Battlestar Galactica picture, making thirteen. The empty seat in the BSG picture is for the final Cylon, who was unrevealed at the time the image was released.

Thirteen people at the Last Supper - Jesus and the twelve apostles. (Also believed to be one reason why thirteen is considered an unlucky number.)
