Surprised Jerry's gold digger wife wasnt sitting next to Funkhouser in the bleachers.
I bet Super Dave told the joke to Jerry in real time (without Jerry even knowing the joke or the punchline). Supposedly Super Dave (Funkhouser) has thousands of 'em.

I probably haven't laughed as hard at any show this year. Great episode.

Indeed. A local radio host here in Chicago (Jonathan Brandmeier) talks to him frequently, and he always has a ton of jokes ready to go. Unfortunately, I heard him tell the liver joke that he used on Curb last night on Brandmeier some months ago, so it kind of ruined it for me.Originally Posted by siddd5

LOVED the obviously real near-blooper stuff with Jerry, Julia and Wayne

that they addressed the michael richards "incident" - and it was very well done.."oh come on..it's been like 3 years" when Leon comes in to talk to him

kind of got a question. The ending was supposed to imply that the doctor thought Larry was doing stuff to the little girl?
I loved this episode as well. Loved seeing Newman making an entrence.

Leon = awesome. Loved all the scenes he was in.
It was also hilarious how Funkhauser just shows up and makes himself at home.

I think the only thing I didn't like about this episode is that they used an actress who appeared on Seinfeld as a different person.

Can you imagine if LD actually ended CYE just like they did with Seinfeld, with LD in jail, and being on trial, and Leon ends up being his defense lawyer.

I hope he ends it just like The Sopranos. LD gets some onion rings "for the table..." Same song, same black screen, same everything.

I loved all the references to "finally doing a funny finale" for Seinfeld and Larry is the only one that defends the old one.

Why couldn't it have been the same person...she worked on the show as a producer, then acted in an episode? Originally Posted by bunkaroo

Is this the last season? I think this would be an awesome way to end the series.Originally Posted by Patman

Loved the episode and the fact that Michael Richards can make fun of himself for what happened a few years back. I was on the floor in some scenes.
Can't wait for next week.

Eh, I still would enjoy it. Its weird, I remember reading an interview w/ Larry where he mentioned about the 'seinfeld reunion' and how elaine got pregnant from a one night stand? wonder what made them go w/ jerry being a sperm donor instead.Originally Posted by Numanoid
Not if they use that plot. Jerry donates his sperm so Elaine can have a daughter. Ugh. In this context, it works fine. But that would be a sad real reunion plot.

No! NO!! I will hunt you down if that was to happen! I hated that damn ending on sopranos and they better not do anything like that in a series finale for curb! hahahaOriginally Posted by OscarBluth

Thought that was totally obvious. Since no one else has mentioned it, I thought the storyline having Larry refer to the little girl's "pussy" was way over the line. I'm pretty surprised that I haven't seen a backlash yet from some group that you usually see boycotting network programming. I mean if they had a problem with the urine splatter on "The Jesus", how could they not have a problem with a 50+ y.o. bald asshole referring to a pre-teen's area as her "pussy". It was one thing when the mother did it, and Larry seemed pretty surprised and put off, which is why I was surprised to see him continue down that road. And what type of clueless jackass would use that term when referring to a minor in front of his doctor, who he should have known had a professional duty to report his stupid bald ass to the authorities. This went way beyond his usual idiotic yet explainable antics he usually serves up. This was just really off-putting, and not funny (to me). I'm sure others will feel differently.Originally Posted by Rypro 525

I think this was beyond farce. It described a pre-pubescent girl's genitals using a very sexually suggestive term, usually reserved for adult and/or sexually active females.

The first episode of the first season of Curb was The Pants Tent, where people thought Larry had a boner while hugging a child. IIRC, that child actress even said something about Larry having something hard in his pants. Did you think that was funny? Originally Posted by Jack Straw

It's no different than saying circumcision is cutting off part of a boy's cock (or dick). The word is slang for penis, it doesn't have to mean anything sexual.
What about the episode where Larry complimented a boy's father on his penis size?

In the first example, the episode you're referring to is "The Doll". Yes, that was funny because Larry didn't really have a hard-on and was not really sexually aroused by a little girl, yet was thought to be guilty of this based on the little girl's proclamation. Originally Posted by OscarBluth

I don't recall Larry referring to Hugh's kid's penis as a "cock" in the episode you're referring to. Again, penis is a more clinical term, not suggestive of a tool ready for plucking.

This is all very funny coming from someone with the signature you have, but whatever....Originally Posted by Jack Straw

Glad to amuse. Like I said, others will feel differently which is cool too.
