Maybe she'll do a guest spot or come back for the last episode.

Neither show is appointment television for me, although I do watch both. I dotn think either show is very good, but Eastwick was enjoyable. Kind of like Charmed. Forgotten should have been cancelled as well, but i guess the studio doesnt want to piss off the uber producer.

This week's episode of Eastwick the last one? It was the 11th episode, and I thought they had filmed 13 episodes, but that the 13th episode wasn't much of a wrap-out, while the 11th episode that aired this week was somewhat of a wrap-up with some dangling threads. Next week Ugly Betty moves into Eastwick's 10 p.m. slot on Wednesdays.

What aired was #12; #11 was skipped. (You may have noticed some discontinuity in the continuity department).
I've searched and can't find any plans for #11 and #13.

Yeah they decided to skip episode 11 and 13 for some reason. And there is no plans to air them.

This show could have been really good, given the right producer. I thought it was well worth watching, but they did not develop it fast enough or give it any real twists.

The dispatching of Jamie confused me because I didn't remember it, glad to know I wasn't imagining things with that last aired episode of Eastwick. Plus the red-head was sitting in the bathtub with blood dripping out of her nose at the end of the 10th episode.

'Ugly Betty': ABC cancels the struggling show

The news ain't pretty. Sadly, ABC confirms to Zap2it that "Ugly Betty" is indeed canceled.
"We've mutually come to the difficult decision to make this 'Ugly Betty's' final season," a joint statement from Exec producer Silvio Horta and ABC president Steve McPherson reads. "And are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell."
Additionally, Entertainment Weekly reports that the network has trimmed the show's episode order from 22 to 20.
It's a rough end for the show that once held so much promise as a breakout hit in its first season. It lost its way midway through season two and, in the process, lost viewers as well. ABC shifted the show in season four to the "Friday Night Death Slot" and viewers didn't follow.
The last hope in keeping it alive occurred earlier this month when ABC moved the show to cap off its Wednesday night comedy block. Again, almost 40% of "Cougar Town" (its lead-in) viewers didn't stick around to see Betty's latest misadventures. The show averaged 5.3 million viewers this season, which is nowhere close to what the network needed. And now, the show has run out of chances.
What a ride, "Ugly Betty." We'll miss you.

I know many, many people have given up on Ugly Betty long ago, but I'm going to miss this greatly. It was one of the few 'bright' spots on the TV landscape and I've enjoyed it all the way through.

The trim means Betty will complete with 85 episodes and not 87 (better for syndication).

Next week (March 9th) is the final episode of The Forgotten. ABC is pulling two episodes for a Flashforward Clip show and something else. So the Season (and probably Series) will end with two unaired episodes.

How is less better? If anything it will mean the series will loop mid-week instead of on a weekend. I'd think it might even be better to have the two extra shows so the repeats won't fall on the same day. If someone has a certain day off & watches Betty, they'd see 'new' episodes more & not end up having the same ep played on that day again.

Saw 11 & 13 (you can find them on the net) and it makes sense that they skipped them. They are very much in line with the progressing storyline whereas 12 seems to have been filmed in case they got canceled. I really didn't love 12. It seemed very out of place and like it was some attempt at a revamp of the show. 13 seems to directly follow 11 storywise so that is my theory. I'll miss this show. It was fluff but entertaining.

Don't know if anyone still cares but ABC has scheduled the two missing episodes back-to-back, Saturday, July 10.
(we need a one hour clip show to get back up to speed

ABC is also showing 2 random unaired episodes of The Forgotten in July 3rd. If anyone watched, the show ended with closure as the main arc about Slater's daughter's kidnapping was wrapped up.
