see, that makes sense. If they had said that all the crows also blacked out, then we'd make the same assumptions that crows flying would be the only ones that died. But they simply said crows died.

But i'm fine making the assumption that they blacked out like the humans, and as a result, only a majority (but not all) died.

This is true. I've blacked out many times while typing messages on DVDTalk. The risk is m----------------

I like this concept that crows blacked out. Maybe only species of higher intelligence blacked out:

If so, then I would have thought that dolphins and elephants (and other intelligent species) would also have blacked out. But then again, even if they did, I guess the blackout wouldn't kill too many of them; elephants would just take a nice 2.5 minute timeout on the savanna, while dolphins would just cruise along on autopilot for the same period.

That'll be confirmed if an episode reveals that Heidi Montag didn't have a blackout.

Plenty of them would drown.

I liked this episode. I think Jett Jackson saved the show. I'm more interested now that I know they can change the future.

But it did come out of nowhere. Did he piss someone off on the show? He seemed to be written out very quickly. His additional scene in his FlashForward was just written for that episode.

The actor was never in the cast shots so I wonder whether the character was supposed to be temporary. In previous episodes I got the feeling he was hiding something in his flash forward now we know what it was.

Nah, dolphins sleep underwater -- they wouldn't drown.
