For the past 3 weeks on my R15, House doesn't start recording until half past the hour.
I've done a reset and it did the same thing tonight. Didn't start recording until 8:30. I checked it as late as 5pm and it was set to record at 8.

House is the only show this is happening with.

Any suggestions?

The baseball game before it ran long tonight, not sure about the other weeks.

That shouldn't make a difference.. the dvr had no idea the game went late.
The guide said House at 8 and it didn't start recording until 8:30.

Make sure you didn't accidentally change the DVR setting so that it would start recording "House" a half an hour late. (Though I'm not sure if your model can go that far.)

I checked on all that. I even deleted the season pass and two says later, reset it.
It's really strange.
I don't think House is on for a couple of weeks so we'll see what happens when it comes back.
I'm going to record it on two dvr's and see what happens.
I really don't want to replace the unit .. major hassle.

TiVo did not auto-adjust for the baseball delay. I caught it and extended Lie to Me and extra hour to catch both shows.

Weird problem, guy. Did you consider calling DirecTV to see what they have to say?

I may have to do that, I was hoping I could figure out first. I don't know what they can do other than tell me to do a reset, which I did; or send me a new unit, which I don't want. Shrug.

If that doesn't work try creating a recurring manual recording of the time slot.

The whole thing is befuddling. And I will do what you suggested... after I record it on two dvr's. I want to see if it's a glitch in my guides or just that unit.
