So glad this show is back! It struck me by surprise, I didn't know it was coming back tonight until Sunday.
Glad that Sara is going to be a regular.

This show is great summer fun -- glad it's back. They should write off Thiessen's character though

Very excited for the return of this awesome show. I love everything about it - except that horrendous finale last season (and those green screen shots with Tiffani).
No, really. It's about time. He was an integral part of the show and was even in the show more than Tiffani last season.

Well, I personally would like to see A LOT more of Gloria Votsis (character Alex Hunter). I haven't heard or seen anything about her for season 3, but I haven't looked for any info on it either.
Did they ever explain how Addler raised a WWII U-boat submarine from the ocean floor, towed it into the New York harbor, took it out of the water, and placed it into a warehouse without people seeing it. One would think that would at least be a minor media event.

Well, I guess for now Sharif Atkins is still a guest star. Hell he got more screentime this episode than Hilarie Burton.
That was really solid. I like this little cat and mouse game that Neal and Peter are playing. With the billions of dollars of stolen treasure in play, I think it's a case of Neal's natural instincts as a thief coming back and the temptation he can't resist.
While I like seeing Neal and Peter work together and plan out elaborate cons to catch these White Collar crooks, it's going to be interesting this season seeing the battle of wits between them. The treasure list from Diana was a nice reveal which could screw over Neal and land him back in jail.

Oh and did anyone notice that USA fucked up at the end of White Collar?
They showed a full screen promo with a voice over that said...
"And Now the Season Finale of Covert Affairs" when it was actually the premiere tonight.

That and Sharif Atkins still being listed as a guest star were the highlights of the evening.

"Is that plane big enough?"
"Think of it as a Kardashian - what it lacks in refinement, it makes up for in cargo space."
I was going to post the same thing. The dynamic between Neal and Peter is one of the best things about this show. Great start to the season.

I loved the parallel between Neal and thief they set up to catch. At the end Neal is in the exact spot the other crook was at the beginning of the episode.

I read Jeff Eastin's Twitter page and apparently there is a new opening title sequence for the show.

Just when I thought this show couldn't get any better, a
Looking forward to the new opening, wonder why they use it for the 2nd episode and not the 1st. Also am curious if Burn Notice is going to have a different opening this season. It's far overdue.

Hated the new opening sequence; it was just a big meh. I really liked the old theme, don't know why they wanted to change it.
Pretty fun standalone episode.

Always nice to see Anna Chlumsky. She was in an episode of Covert Affairs last season--maybe she'll show up on Psych next.
Good episode, though I was getting annoyed with how carelessly Neal and Mozzie kept talking about "selling the Degas" out in the open where anybody could hear.

Yeah, that seemed a little odd to me too. You would think they'd use a code word or at least whisper instead of saying DEGAS over and over.

The new title sequence is crap. I loved the old one.
Solid episode but drilling a hole through the case with the book seemed like too amateur a mistake for Neal and Mozzie. Even with the desperation to save the girl, I didn't buy they'd make such a boneheaded move.
Similarly, I don't buy that Mozzie would go to sell the painting before Neal got the intel from that female agent.

Drilling the case was only boneheaded because the book was a forgery specifically designed to rapidly deteriorate in contact with air. I bet the page turning mechanism was set up to intentionally skip over the page they needed so they would be forced to open the case and destroy the book.
