In the world of Mr. F.G. Superman superpowers are the norm. |

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to watch my favorite show about a supernatural phenomenon: Airwolf, which features a helicopter capable of doing things helicopters can't do in the real world. |

In Heroes, they are. In the real world, they are not. But as Bus pointed out, Heroes is not a documentary.
Is Jack Bauer's amazing stamina a natural ability? Could anybody in the real world withstand the kind of punishment he does? Nobody can walk through walls, nobody can make lightnig bolts shoot out of their body. I understand that in the context of Heroes these powers are justified by nature, but the question didn't ask that. |

Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
So suspension of disbelief and elements of fiction equates supernatural powers?

So you misunderstood the question.
S: Name a scripted series with a naturalistic setting but has main characters which have magic or supernatural powers. with your definition every show answered would be wrong because witches with powers wouldn't exist in a naturalistic setting. |

Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
Every show mentioned is wrong, but again: it only matters that Heroes is wrong.

Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
Here's the rule from the front page:
NEW! If the most common answer for a Sheep question is incorrect, all other answers receive a bonus equal to half of the score of the most common answer, rounded down. For example: "Name a vegetable". The most common answer is "tomato" and is worth -15 points. All other answers receive a -7 bonus to their score. |
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
hmm...then I'll stick the with the original assessment that the question sucked.
it doesn't really matter to me as I have no chance of winning |

Or, more to the point, It's actuallya Misfits of SCIENCE ripoff. |
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
I suppose all of the Star Trek series are supernatural as well, since they travel faster than light in just about every episode.

Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
Misfits of Science is an American superhero fantasy television series that aired on NBC from October 1985 to February 1986. It featured a cast of super-powered humans and their madcap adventures. It was a piece of fiction afterall -- their adventures were anything but madcap. |
