TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!

Rules

The object of the game is to out-think everyone by picking answers to questions that are the most common (Sheep) or least common (Reverse Sheep), but still correct.
Example Sheep question: "Name a president of the United States." A good answer might be Lincoln and a bad answer might be the socialist.
Example Reverse Sheep question: "Name a brand of personal computer, past or present". Apple might be a bad answer, but Radio Shack might be a good answer. (Unless everyone is trying to go as obscure as possible).
Sheep scores are tallied as negative numbers. Reverse Sheep scores are tallied as positive numbers. The lowest score wins.
The answers to each question are tallied up. Wrong answers in Reverse Sheep are scored two points above the most common answer. This penalty is multiplied by the Lightning Round Multiplier. Wrong answers in Sheep are not penalized.
NEW! The questions are divided up into 5 sets of 4 questions each, called "timeslots". There is a bonus for winning a timeslot which increases from -2 to -10, for a potential total of a -30 bonus if one person wins all 5.
NEW! There are no Lightning Rounds in this game. Instead, each player gets the ability to give a ×2 multiplier to one question from each set. Doing so is called "sweeps week". Five sets means that you have a total of five multipliers to use. You may use them any way you see fit- use one multiplier for a question in each set, double them up, or use all five on one question. Go nuts! Experiment!
To use your "sweeps week" multiplier, simply put {sw} AFTER your answer. To use more than one, simply add additional {sw}. For example, if you want to use three on one question, you would put "{sw}{sw}{sw}" after your answer.
NEW! There is a Unique Bonus for Reverse Sheep Unique Answers. This is calculated based on the most common answer +2. Basically, it's the reverse of wrong answer scoring.
NEW! If the most common answer for a Sheep question is incorrect, all other answers receive a bonus equal to half of the score of the most common answer, rounded down. For example: "Name a vegetable". The most common answer is "tomato" and is worth -15 points. All other answers receive a -7 bonus to their score.
You may not cheat by using Google, Wikipedia, TV.com, etc. Use only what's in your head.
Please send in your answers to me via PM. Place only one answer per line, without numbers or the question itself. Those who do not do this will be penalized 10 points right off the bat.
For your convenience, I've made a Google Docs spreadsheet where you can prepare your answers. When finished, just select the column of answers and send that in as text via PM. Don't email me the Excel file, that would be silly.
The Borg are not a species.
Note: For the purposes of this game, Reverse Sheep answers will be determined to be correct or incorrect based on my whims. I can of course be swayed by evidence, argument, etc. However, a better way to curry favor is by giving me gifts. A particular favorite is chocolate hobnobs (Only 3 left in stock! Order soon!). PM me for my address.
Sheep questions are marked by an S:, Reverse Sheep questions are marked by an R:.
I would like to get at least 20 players. Under no circumstances will I take more than 30 (this excludes your game runner, of course). People that have run a game in the past or suggested questions to me that I have used have a guaranteed spot and will not count towards the cap of 30.
Special thanks goes out to The Bus for providing the formatting, rules, etc. for me to steal.
Additional special thanks goes to The Bus for providing me with questions suggestions, some of which I have used here.
The game will begin sometime next week.

The Questions
Early Morning
S: Name a series that aired as part of ABC’S “TGIF” lineup.
R: Name a scripted television series that takes place mainly on a boat or ship.
S: Name a current or former host of Good Morning America.
S: Name a famous TV dog. How delightfully droll. I'm glad my phone call to you helped get this going.

Why are the headers numbered?

Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
Great questions! I will be in this one for sure.

HTML Code:

Header
Header
Number One
Number Two

Header
Number Three
There should be <br> in there, after Number Two. |
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
The "b" tag has been deprecated, and you didn't close your "li" tags.
HTML Code:

Header
Number One

Number Two
Header
Number Three

|
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
Hey, I never said HTML was a strong suit with me.
|
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
A concern has been raised about this question:
"Name a US-produced/created series that does not take place in the United States." US/Country X co-productions are not allowed. |
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
You don't explain it clearly, but a using five {sw}s would lead to a ×2^5 multiplier?
|
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
Another clarification:
{sw}s add +1 to the multiplier. So one {sw} is a x2 multiplier, two {sw} is a x3 multiplier, and so on, up to a x6. |
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
Submitted.
I love question #19. Too many good answers to choose from. |
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
Some people should probably check to make sure they used their {sw}s.
|
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
I have absolutely no idea on #14. How would we even know this? Is that mentioned before a show starts?
Blind guess on my part. |

Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
I have no idea how he can verify #14. I know my answer is correct, but I can't prove it.
|
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
I think you just have to make sure at least one episode was greater than 45 minutes in a 60-minute slot.
|
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
What happens if you use a {sw} on a Reverse question? Seems like you're just fucking yourself over by doubling your points or wasting it on a unique.
Are they meant to cancel out the reverseness and count as regular sheep? |

Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
I thought they doubled everybody else.

Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
I'm in. Some really good questions.
|
Re: TV Sheep Round 4: We've Been Renewed!
Just so I'm clear.
Using a {sw} on a Reverse Sheep has the potential to hurt you, if you're not unique (by doubling your positive points). Using a {sw} on a Regular Sheep can only help (by doubling your negative points), just to a varying degree. Is that right? |
