Other than a few jokes, I thought this episode was completely worthless.

WTF was Kripke thinking?

I think, based on that video that was posted in a previous thread, that Kripke did this as a backdoor intro for a plotline about
Spoiler:
other gods reacting to how the Christian deities (in this case the Angels) kickstarted the Apocalypse. Some gods would get pissed and others, like tonight's fan-muncher, figure "what the hell?"

At least Paris was on par with Jared acting-wise.

I thought it was a fun episode and have no problem with Hilton at all.

Nice way to think about it. I certainly didn't. Thanks for the insight.

Episode had its moments, expected Henry Winkler since they mentioned Fonzi's leather jacket

Probably just to try to build up some excitement for the rest of the year, and maybe get some word of mouth out there to ratings up. It could be a test to see if the ratings improve enough for another season.

Overall, I liked the episode. There should be MORE stand-alone episodes. The demons/angels thing gets old.

No, I think it was because the episode ran short - even with the previously-on and the super-preview (minus commercials), the episode was only 39 minutes long.
