Apparently Castle only has a 13 episode 2nd season order so far. The next few weeks should decide whether or not this gets a full season.

I'd be okay with half a season if that means another half a season next year. I favor content over quantity. Do we think 22 is required to see another 13 next fall?
Come to think of it, in this day and age is it valid to say a "full season"? ~22 episode "seasons" seem to be waning.

Im catching all the episodes slowly online. Im at episode 6 now so Im really digging the show. I hope the season gets picked up for more eps and continues on. I also saw the book at Books A Million yesterday. 
Pretty damn cool, Ill have to read it someday.
God damn that Stana. She has this look where she looks at castle slowly, or with just her eyes than moves her head slowly. I had a girlfriend who did that and it drove me nuts in the sense of "thats fucking HOT!" I would say off or wierd things just to get her to give me that look. So. Damn. Hot.

Yes, it's pretty much required. If they don't get picked up for the 'back 9', it will be because ABC has cancelled the show...which I hope they do not do.
