I feel bad for Evelyn at times too, but for two shows now all she's done is pretty much talk about how put upon she is. She likes to martyr herself. She certainly has some culpability in how people treat her.

I love EV but doesn't her constant bragging about being the best girl on each competition get old?

Not bragging if it's true. Had a cute little ass in those jeans on the after show though.

Seriously. I wish MTV would atleast put a formidable team against them. Obviously the challengers have never won, but some are just terrible and they'll never win like Shauvon and Casey. I like Brad but if he, Dunbar and Danny are the best players, there's no chance in hell they win.

The vets vs rookies challenges are predictable. They should do another bad asses vs good guys one or maybe stack the rookie team.

Maybe, but that doesn't make it any less annoying and it certainly puts a target on one's cute little ass.

She may be the best athlete, but it doesn't change the fact that on Fresh Meat she and Danny went home first against Wes and Casey. Casey!!!!

Maybe I'm mistaken but didn't Wes and Casey win Fresh Meat? So why is she on the Challengers' team?

Darrell and his Partner won Fresh Meat.

I believe Wes/Casey Kenny/Tina were the 2nd and 3rd Place teams.

If they keep throwing wes in the nobodys gonna be left on the blue team.. if that happens i see some type of merger later on.. kind of like they do in the apprentice.

I don't know why everybody doesn't try to get kenny, evan, derreck, and johnny booted.. cause is you arn't one of them chances are your not going to make it.. cause once they get rid of wes is he ever loses a ruin? they are just going to start "trimming the fat" its a numbers game and they got the numbers take away the numbers they are as good as done.. i can't stand them.. they are just a bunch of bullies.

Not looking good for the challengers, but at least Brad, Danny, and Dunbar are at least the bigger guys on that team left over.

I wonder if the final challenge will end up being one of those things where the large number of people on a team will hurt them.

I actually do a pretty good job of avoiding bad tv, but these shows are definitely like crack.

If they had an entire cast doing another show (The Gauntlet 5 or whatever), I'd want ever stupid moment of that too.

The game is rigged, the players usually know everyone who's coming in advance and plan their strategies to win and share money long before they arrive, the teams could not be more uneven (on Survivor at least it's usually because of bad picking or just bad luck, but side-by-side these 2 teams aren't even close), and yet I love the show. Evan used to seem like a good guy, but recently he seems more like a douche like Kenny. But I can't not like the guy somehow.

This is not a spoiler because it's just a guess, but based on the one after show they did, it sure seemed from Danny's attitude that the Champions team prevails.

That's another thing, they give away more spoilers in the previews, and always have, and it's like they simply don't care to make an effort to put out something that makes you want to come back for more without knowing way too much about what's going to happen in the coming weeks.

Oh, and I don't think Veronica is hot, at least relative to most of the other girls on this show.

Has Susie always been this much of a dick? I thought I used to like her.

Veronica used to be hot 5 years ago, but now she is old and has gained about 30 pounds.

And regarding the spoilers, remember this show is geared towards teens and early 20's and they don't care about the show being spoiled, they are just looking at it for entertainment value.

But it is stupid when they show next weeks previews halfway thru the current show.

Being undefeated in challenges will do that to a person!

Veronica is still attractive to me, but not as hot compared to some of the more recent girls. It's weird to see the old timers get pushed back to the new cliques; Derrick and Veronica used to be hot shit, but now it's all Evan, Kenny and Johnny.

And yeah, I thought Susie before was all sweet and nice. Then again, I'm sure being on that team in particular forces you to have an ego.

Adam sucks at these things and is incredible dull and uninteresting. Why do they keep inviting him back?

re: Real World/Road Rules Challenge "The Ruins" Season Discussion

Keep in mind when Susie first did Road Rules she was an 18 year old virgin. She was pretty much the naive girl in the world for the first time.

The last few of these challenges she has definitely learned how to "game the game". She and Cara were kind of a mean girl combo in a couple of these (and according to Beth S they tag teamed Jamie from New Orleans in a closet).

Say what you want about her, but to date she's always backed it up. She frequently volunteers and as was stated in this week's show; she's never lost (yet). She's 30 now so I don't know how much longer it can last for her. Still, with Evelyn gone she's certainly the most complete girl that the Champions have.

I give her some props for going in and winning but, she pretty much said herself that she volunteers so she can be a part of the deliberation not because she's all that willing to go in.

True, but if you volunteer and the other team wins the challenge then you are vulnerable. This isn't the first time she's volunteered either. She voluntarily left and won her way back on Viewer's Revenge pretty much at will.

No kidding. I was a bit confused by the Ruins challenge and didn't know who was winning. Not a good one for tv.

Had no idea what was going on and I blame Lavin for that as he gave a horrible description. Where they trying to get water in there bucket of the other persons bucket? The picture of the bucket filling by there names that they kept showing didn't mean anything as far as I could tell.

I'm surprised everyone blamed Veronica for the mess with Tonya. Yeah, she could have been the "mature" one and just be quiet and not taunt her, but hell the guys have been screwing with Tonya the entire time.

Kind of a cool challenge, but seems like it should have gone more rounds and ended pretty quick.
