I'm actually really interested in this show. I actually liked Twilight and I like Kevin Williamson's work as a writer/producer.

I watched the trailer, and I find it funny that the lead actor comes across as more caring and less bad boy/dark loner (something you'd expect from a vampire) than the role he played on Everwood. I suppose that's a compliment to the actor.

Too bad this is on the CW, where you have to peek through the promos for other shows to catch a glimpse of the show you're watching.
Does anyone know if there's a place to watch this (hulu, itunes, etc) where the screen is not 1/4 covered by promos & station ID's?

Hey I'm not in the demographic either (35 yr old male), but I do like Young Adult dramas and I have a guilty pleasure for most CW programming.

I was hoping not to watch this but I'll probably set the Tivo. Looks like something that I won't be able to stand but if it's getting good reviews I'll have to check it out.

I love vampire stuff, but I'm always baffled when an ancient, powerful vampire decides to go back to high school. I'll believe in the bloodsucking, but reliving the prom? Never.
I'll surely watch it, though, since True Blood is almost over for the year.

^ Is that for the show, or some other new CW show = 3.0? I watched that when it first came on for a while, but dropped it after half a season. Never really had a reason to get back into it. I guess it turned out pretty well and the "jump" made a difference too.

I think this show will probably suffer the fate of the DVR build-up and dump, especially in the face of a new fall season of TV. I just found the pilot mostly dull and there's wasn't a lot to pull me into future episodes.
