Ah, yes! Was wondering if they'd have a new episode tonight on account of the holiday.

Can't wait.

I was a bit worried Don's daughter was gonna take what she saw on tv and do it herself.

"You'll get raped, you know that?"

Now we see where Peggy gets her (unintentional) sense of humor from.

Liked the look Peggy gave Don as she was leaving the meeting with the Pepsi people.

All the Peggy scenes and the scenes with Pete's rich college buddy were great.

I thought the scene with Sally at the end was really good. That little girl did a great job.

Living in the Seattle area you quickly realize that the Swedish/Norwegian schism is very real indeed. Crazy Scandinavians.

Peggy's mother is a gem. What a sweetheart.

Sal's wife finally clues in when Sal was recreating the Bye-Bye Birdie/Patio commercial. He almost set off the fire alarms.

Re: Mad Men -- "The Arrangements" -- 9/6/09

I loved how Betty's dad told her to get off her feet because it was bad for the baby, and then a couple minutes later told her to light up a cigarette. Good stuff.

The look of subtle horror on Sal's wife's face was priceless--she played that scene extremely well...

Me too. When he and Betts were lying on the bed and and he woke up, I thought for a minute that maybe he smelled smoke.
Poor Sally, the forgotten mourner. So typical for that era .. add in her cold fish mother and you wonder where she's going to be in a few years.

But not before telling her that smoking cigarettes was the equivalent of suicide. I think he told her to smoke the cigarettes because she was fidgeting with one and was dying to smoke it - especially since she was discussing something she's uncomfortable talking about.

Re: Mad Men -- "The Arrangements" -- 9/6/09

I know I've seen the guy who wanted to spend a million dollars and Peggy's new roommate somewhere before, but I can't seem to place either one. Any help?

Peggy's new roommate is Carla Gallo, who has been in Superbad (girl who got period blood on Seth's pants), Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the 40 Year 0ld Virgin, and on tv in Undeclared, Carnivale, and guest starred in Californication last season.

I'm not sure who the other person is.

Horace was played by Aaron Stanford (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0822155/)... he was in Flakes, The Hills Have Eyes and The Cake Eaters.

Hm - still not much help. I checked his IMDB list and the only I've seen on there is the X-Men movies. I don't fell like that's where I know him from, but it must be. Thanks!

Has anyone noticed that Bobby Draper is played by a new actor or am I just imagining it.

He is.

They are gonna run into problems with the Draper kids aging appropriately to match the series' time jumps.
