Re: Dark Blue -- "Ice" -- 8/19/09
Saw this last night and thought it was a pretty good episode.
Lots of eye candy in this episode. The Hot blonde (Liz) who Ty was using was really nice to look at and the other blonde who was interested in Carter.
Ty's wife should know that it was bad timing to mention she wanted to have a family. Especially as long as he remains a UC.
I know Dean felt bad at end for getting the dress salesman arrested for introducing him to the diamonds broker. But, Carter was right that they need to keep their emotions in check when doing this type of work. Yeah he has a wife and a daughter going to college, but the guy was still a con.
Really looking forward to next week with Michael Biehn as Guest Star.

Thought it was pretty good, but they could have spared the attempt at blurring the line between really bad guys and just bad guys with the moral qualms about putting the one 'family' man guy away. Seemed out of place and a bit preachy - the guy was fencing stolen goods and appeared to be living a fairly decent lifestyle, not stealing to scrape by.
Do we know if these guys have been long term UC's (other than the girl, that's the assumption I'm working on). The visiting the wife during a mission in the past episode and now the want to have a kid thread seems just off.

I believe Dean, Ty and Carter have been fairly long term as UC's. They never really specified how long they have been working the job.
