At least reveal the counts for Denise Crosby, Terry Farrell and Grace Whitney, so we can argue about the one who was fired all weekend.

What time are we looking at? With only a few question left, it could wrap up pretty quickly and I'm prepared for a fight on one of my questions.

By the way, current post counts are 632 for Trek Sheep and 591 for Sports Sheep, I think Trek is going fine.

This one is so clever I want to give it to you. I even buy into the "era" technicality. But I also think the term implies an actual crew member.

Wait, the Betelguesians aren't part of the Federation? What about Zaphod Beeblebrox? He was the galactic president!

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation
I was proud of myself for coming up with a red shirt name (actually, two, since Kyle also occurred to me) and then dismayed to find that it was just two points off from a wrong answer.
If I would have known that, I might have gone for my favorite red shirt joke name:
Kenneth Nathaniel Fahder
Ken N. Fahder
get it?

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation
My thoughts:
First, I want to explain that I'm virtually never here during the day. As a public defender, I'm in court or with clients for the most part. That's why I don't often participate during the reveal stage. In fact, I may create some sort of evening sheep if my life settles down enough for it at some point. That might be good December fodder. I do appreciate the effort put into this, Tracer. Thank you.
On to the questions:
I think Tracer got this one right with Family Guy. If you count buying DVDs, I think you have to count watching the show. That renders the question nearly meaningless because just about every show that has ever gotten a second season has done so due to ratings, which would be "fan action".
I chose Archer because I figured that a number of people would be doing good to remember even the Captain's name. Seems I was right.
I said Cardassians here, and I think I understand why that is wrong. It's due to the post I found after submitting my answers that indicates main characters equals in the credits. I could have changed it (I guess) but chose not to do so. I think my answer is right, though I agree Tracer gets to set the rules. I think Garak was a main character. Since I care more about discussion than points, I was okay with taking the hit on this. I wouldn't have gotten any really great answer, anyway.
I went with Jadzia thinking everybody would go with Kurzon or Ezri.
Understanding it is Tracer's call to make, I think he blew it with the warp speed/engage command. Engage just means "do it". The typical lay in a course for x, warp y, engage syntax includes three commands. Didn't Picard use "engage" when dealing with tractor beams, too?
Were wmansir and I separated at birth? We gave the same answers on both questions -- a really good one for the first and a really bad one for the second.
I was so excited by my crystalline entity answer when I saw Enterprise, I didn't see the "no bloody A, B, C, or D" portion. By the way, the crystalline entity was killed by gravitons emitted by the 1701-D. I'm not sure that would even be considered a weapon, though gravitons were considered (and rejected) as a possibility for Borg fighting.
My answer was Star Trek IV, which has been counted wrong. I don't understand why. I think I get why bringing the Whales back does not violate it, but wouldn't giving the formula for transparent aluminum away count?
I'm psyched to be the only one who chose Risa.
This one was a shocker. I can't believe there were so few Tribbles answers. I figured that was the sheep call all the way. Oh well.
My answer of Biggs was not supposed to be sneaky -- it was supposed to be funny. Biggs is Luke's buddy who has like one line of dialogue and then eats it. It seems I failed to score points (which I knew I wouldn't) and failed to get laughs. Oh well. I did at least temporarily get points out of it somehow.

On to the questions:
The Original Series was canceled in 1968, but a letter-writing campaign convinced NBC to renew it for a third (and final) season. Name another television series that was brought back through fan action.
Who was the least annoying member of the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise NX-01?
Many main characters throughout the various Star Trek series were non-humans. Name one of them (by species).
# R: Name one of the hosts of the Dax symbiont.
Name a command given on the bridge of a starship.
Androids were a recurring feature of Star Trek. Name (or describe) one that appeared in any series or movie.
Name an enemy (ship or species) that the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 fired its weapons on.

Name (or describe) any episode or movie in which the Prime Directive was broken.
Name a member (planet or species) of the Federation.
Name the best episode of The Original Series.
Scotty and Uhura both wore red shirts. Name another “red shirt” from The Original Series era.

DON'T PANIC
I always liked Bones' logic in that scene (as mentioned in the post above). Also, of all the charges brought up against Kirk and the crew at the end of IV, violating the Prime Directive was not one of them. So I still vote Voyage Home as a wrong answer.
