This is why I stopped watching previews.

In this instance, it was hard to avoid if you were watching Hung after it. They didn't show it right after the episode like they do with the normal "next week on..." They showed next week's preview, then a couple other HBO promos, and then this other one, right before Hung started.

They've been showing that comic con preview for a while now. I swear I've seen it like 5 times.

Good episode... shit finally started happening. The setup to this stage took way too long, but at least we're finally moving along.

I'm getting very tired of having Andy be dismissed every episode because people think he's drunk again. Either have him involved with stuff that can make a difference or just remove him from some episodes. His character seems pointless if he's just looked at as the town drunk every single time.

I find zero attraction to Bill's maker. She is not hot at all.

So basically Maryann is a control freak. She wants Sam because Sam don't want her.

Very enjoyable but why Didn't Sam say something to all the people in the Diner when the Sheriff told them all he had seen them the night before. Wouldn't it have been a good thing to say, do all you remember where you were last night??
Maybe the next episode.

I agree. I couldn't help but literally laughing out loud to myself, while still finding it sweet in some way.

I didn't even think about that as I watched it. I've been reading the books for years now and I have to say I don't think too much was spoiled except probably a few conclusions to this weeks episode. I do have to say that the pic feel it gave was beyond amazing, I got goose bumps. For those that missed it: but beware it does have some numerous spoilers for the next episode or two.

I have to agree. I will admit that I've checked out a few times during the last couple of episodes, but tonight everything seemed to click back on track. Can't wait for the final five!

I think in that final scene in the bar people were starting to freak out and realize something happened to them, and then when Andy came in and called them on it they just got defensive because they didn't want to hear the truth.

The show's full of fake accents, but I find Andy's "gruff" voice particularly grating. I don't think it was nearly as over-the-top last season.

Whats great is the fact that 2 years ago, I was in that very church watching my cousin marry the preacher's daughter. When I went to see them two weeks ago, I asked about the filming there. They said they'd heard some show was filming, but didn't know what. I asked them if they knew that they filmed a scene in which the preacher's wife got banged by some random dude. They looked kind of taken aback. I'm assuming that HBO left that out of the descriptions when negotiating for the church's consent to film there. :P

I laughed.

When they were filming The Stand at my church, they filled it with corpses.

They filmed that Jim Carrey flick "Once Bitten" at my old Lutheran Church in Culver City.

..at least they play love interests and it won't be as weird as the brother/sister duo on Dexter.

awesome episode ! loved Jason beating up the thug. He should have finished him off. Bill's maker is a terrible character otherwise very good

Amidst all the anger and drunken chaos in BonTemp and Dallas, the episode had time for some sweet hilarious moments with these two. That generic Leona Lewis song in the backgrnd had me laughing!!

I think Chris Bauer's "gruff officer" fits right in with some of the silly accents in the TB universe ("PIIIIGGG!!!" rotfl ) The most disappointing for me is Stephen Moyer, who seems to be struggling with holding onto a faux 'Southern' accent this season.

Andy's only supernatural power seems to be looking like a total drunk even when sober, that is if he has been sober at all this season.

I too don't believe that Andy has any other supernatural powers...I can't recall if his eyes turned black but he did smash a piece of cake into his face during Tara's birthday bash.
