Bob Saget delivers the intro in perfect deadpan style. Jimmy Fallon looks like he's in pain trying to hold back laughter, pretty much ruining Saget's deadpan intro:

I used to hate Fallon, but I gave the show a chance, and now I watch it every night. It's good (at least to me). I'm really surprised at how well it turned out.

I just can't stand the guy, so I refuse to even give his show a chance. He was a major reason why I stopped watching SNL.

I can forgive someone for not being able to control themselves on live TV, but isn't his talk show taped?

I'd love to see all the takes of that intro that weren't used. It's not that f'n difficult to not laugh.

It's reaching a point where cracking is almost part of his schtick. I don't mind it, but I can see why people think it's annoying.

This is why I hate Jimmy Fallon.

His laughing with Horatio Sanz used to annoy the shit out of me on SNL. SNL established from day one (The Belushi Era) that there would be no cracking up during the skit, as it rarely happened in the years after. Fallon started doing it every skit, and it would ruin it everytime!

Sandler paved the way for the cracking up years earlier. I dont think he kept a straight face for ANY skit/song he did.

Thats pretty funny because I absolutley HATED that commercial, and I always thought that Jimmy Fallon was annoying and seemed like he was aways out of breath when he "acted" on shows or movies (this is why I thought he would be an awful Talk show host). ANYWAYS I had sucessfully repressed that commercial (without knowing that I did or without trying to repress it), enough time had passed that it was all but gone from my memory, but now it is back and it may take a long time until I felt the way I did right before watching that AWFUL pepsi commercial in this thread, I think I hate Dane Cook worse though.

He had one line, ONE LINE, in the Cowbell sketch and couldn't get through it without laughing. That's why I hate him.

How seeing Fallon dance like a total moron on top of a cab is supposed to be funny is clearly beyond my understanding.

Holy crap, you're right. That really is sad.

Use to like him on SNL but can't stand his late night show. He looks nervous and uncomfortable. That was charming in sketch comedy, but you want a guy conducting an interview to have some confidence.
