If the question said 'blue collar,' that would have been a lot clearer.

But if that's the case, then your answer to the nurses question should be a no.

Well I think Jeremy517 cleared it up with the Wiki definition.

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep: Round 3!

I think unskilled and semiskilled is the key to a "working class" job.

Disc Jockey jokes aside is radio an unskilled or semiskilled job?

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep: Round 3!

I posted this earlier, but I would argue that WKRP was a "workplace comedy" and didn't focus on "working class life" in that we rarely saw the characters outside of the radio station.

What a load of crap. Roc was supposed to be my ace in the hole. I've never heard anybody talk about or mention that show -- even when it was on!

If Roseanne got 16, wrong answers are 18, right?

I don't know if I'd say 'rarely.'

Also, if outside the workplace is a key component, then Alice would fail too.

I figured all five of us thought we were pretty smart with that one.

Part of Alice took place at home with her son.

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep: Round 3!

Damn it. Roc was supposed to be my ace-in-the-hole answer.

My guess? We all remember seeing the last few minutes of the show before The Simpsons came on. I always had a bit taped since I'd pad my VCR.

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep: Round 3!

People were diving over each other to answer "Roc" but nobody mentioned "The Honeymooners."

Sure, but the vast majority of Alice took place in the diner. There were parts of WKRP that took place outside the station.

I don't consider radio a working class job.

I was going to but I thought it'd be a popular one.
