Jack Shepard and his Lost Sheep (AKA the next round of TV Talk Sheep)

<center><img src="http://www.chartrand.org/jeremy517/lost_sheep.JPG"></center>

<ul>Rules<br>
<li> The object of the game is to out-think everyone by picking answers to questions that are the most common (<FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #F9DF00">Sheep</font>) or least common (<FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #A3D867">Reverse Sheep</font>), but still correct.
<li> Example <FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #F9DF00">Sheep</font> question: "Name an actress on Lost." A good answer would be Evangeline Lilly and a bad answer might be Zuleikha Robinson.
<li> Example <FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #A3D867">Reverse Sheep</font> question: "Name an actor on Lost". Matthew Fox might be a bad answer, but Malcolm David Kelley might be a good answer. (Unless everyone is trying to go as obscure as possible).
<li> Sheep scores are tallied as negative numbers. Reverse Sheep scores are tallied as positive numbers. The lowest score wins.
<li> The answers to each question are tallied up. Wrong answers in Reverse Sheep are scored three points above the most common answer. This penalty is multiplied by the Lightning Round Multiplier. Wrong answers in Sheep are not penalized.
<li> Certain rounds are considered Lightning Rounds (designated by a multiplier, such as ×2). In these rounds, scores are adjusted by the <u>number on the multiplier</u>. A reverse sheep wrong answer gets a +6 penalty in a ×2 round and a +9 penalty in a ×3 round.
<li> You may not cheat by using Google, Wikipedia, etc. Use only what's in your head.
<li> You may not cheat by reading other threads about Lost. Use only what's in your head.
<li> Please send in your answers to me via PM. Place only one answer per line, without numbers or the question itself. Those who do not do this will be penalized 10 points right off the bat.
<li> For your convenience, <a href="http://www.chartrand.org/jeremy517/Lost_Sheep.xls">I've made an Excel file</a> where you can prepare your answers. When finished, just select the column of answers and send that in as text via PM. Don't email me the Excel file, that would be silly.
<li> Note: For the "name a character" questions, these should be <b>regular/prominent characters at some point.</b> In general, the person should have a known first and last name, but a few prominent characters don't have one or the other and would still clearly be fine answers and a few characters that wouldn't count have both. As long as it is clear who you are talking about, you don't necessarily have to <i>know</i> their last name; I just don't want anyone like "Red Shirts", "Random Construction Worker #5", "Adam, the Book Club Member", etc).
<li> Sheep questions are marked by an <FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #F9DF00">S:</font>, Reverse Sheep questions are marked by an <FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #A3D867">R:</font>.
<li> Unique Bonus: Reverse Sheep questions will generate additional bonus (negative) points if there are less than 6 people with unique answers according to the following:
1 Unique is awarded -10
2 Uniques are awarded -8 each
3 Uniques are awarded -6 each
4 Uniques are awarded -4 each
5 Uniques are awarded -2 each
These bonuses are not affected by multipliers.
<li> There are no equalizer questions, because equalizer questions are dumb. Why should someone be punished for doing well? Why should someone be rewarded for failing miserably?
</ul>

<ol><u>The Questions</u><br>

Great questions.

Looking forward to this one. I've been memorizing facts from the Memory Alpha website in preparation.

ok, I'm in!

The Lost game we had last season made it easier for me to remember some details for all but one question, but that one gave me an easy answer for no. 17

I stopped watching Lost at the begining of Season 3 when it got super lame and am planning to get caught up on DVD. In order to avoid spoilers, I'm sitting this one out -- the first Sheep Game I will miss. That makes me sad (see Groucho's signature).

That means last place is up for grabs!

According to my notes you've missed the very original Video Games Sheep and Reverse Sheep Round 2 in Video Games.

Due to the nature of one of the questions, I cannot say whether the show gets any better, nor when.

In! Last week, I came up with like 10 question ideas and you got almost all of them. That's kinda nuts. I had the traffic violation question as Reverse Sheep though.

I don't know crap about Lost, so I'll skip this and let someone else play.

PS - I've got a Babylon 5 game ready to go. I'll hold off until this one is rolling before doing anything about it. Enjoy!

PPS - Oops, there's already one. Okay, I'll do a follow-up. :)

Actually, now that you mention it, I think I did sit the first couple out. What was I thinking? These things are fun.

In for this round. Awesome idea for a sheep game. Suprised at how hard some questions were for me and I consider myself a LOST junkie.
