I'm so glad it's back. But it'll suck once the remaining 4 eps are over.

Yeah, the client was extremely annoying in this one. Why couldn't they get him on his meds before the resolved the case. The case seemed pretty by the numbers too. Not one of the better episodes.

The case seemed bigger in the ads. And Fiona was strangely absent through most of it. It also didn't help that when she did show up it was just to repeat her complaints about Michael trying to get back into the agency.
I'm surprised they didn't dump the client on Michael's mom.

Hopefully next week's is better.
Still don't understand Fiona's reluctance to let Michael return to the spy world. Is she that ready to settle down in Miami and have a "normal" life? I can't really ever see either one of them changing their natures.
Family does seem to mean more to Michael and he does seem to be trying to fit in with his mom and Nate, but being tied down to one place just doesn't seem a viable option.

I don't really get it either. She always likes blowing up shit and getting the bad guys. Seems out of character.

That reminds me, after the scene that ended with Fi crying I remember thinking I should ask you guys what exactly her problem is with Micheal getting his job back. I guess it's just that she can't tag along with him on missions?

I am confused. Michael now wants his job back? I thought he was offered his job back in the season finale last year and turned it down, wanting to be "on his own".

No. At the end of the season, John Mahoney's character offered him Carla's job, not his old job. It's pretty clear Michael was a government spy doing what he concluded was good, pro-American work. Who Carla works for is unclear, but it seems pretty evident that they are the ones who burned Michael (or so we are supposed to believe -- the Fi burned Michael for love angle is still out there).

I think its pretty simple why Fiona doesn't want Michael to get his old job back. He wouldn't be around anymore and she wouldn't she him. Its sort of weird that he doesn't understand that. I think in the pilot his mom said that it had been a really long time since she had seen him last.
