Holy crap, I blew it again. We're not even to the Reverse questions and I'm failing miserably.

Thought Rather would do better given that so many hate him. I considered Cronkite but figured most of this crowd wasn't even born by the time he retired.

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2

Wow, that certainly was a bizarre round, wasn't it?

Let's take a Lucky Strike break, shall we?

Mmm... that's smooth.

Somebody post the SNL sketch of Dana Carvey as Brokaw, pre-recording all of the Celebrity death segments.

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2

Had Brokaw and changed to Rather, due to the hate factor like Red Dog.

Nice start anyway!

I guess nobody watches ABC. Nobody said Peter Jennings or Charles Gibson.

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2

In retrospect Dan Rather would have been a good choice in the politics forum, not so much here.

I thought he'd do well since there were stories last week about him being in poor health, but I guess these days "A celebrity might die" doesn't really cut it. If only the CBS evening news with Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett had made it the full six months ...

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2

I'm guessing this is due to Brokaw's Conan appearances.
